Every month, Applebee's selects one of their drinks and sells them for an insanely cheap price but they've really outdone themselves this month. This time, the tropical cocktail up for grabs (for a mere dollar), is everyone's favourite (well, mine at least) rum-based beverage.

Dubbed, the "Malibu Dollarmama", the restaurant chain will be selling $1 Malibus every day in July giving customers a chance to enjoy their summer without it setting them back too much.

If you're interested in getting cocktails practically for nothing (because, you know, why wouldn't you be?), they will be available at participating locations, according to a spokesperson for the company.

The bargain beverages will be served in a 10oz mug with Malibu Coconut Rum, Tropicana Orange Juice, and Tropicana Pineapple Juice.

"Malibu Coconut Rum is unquestionably a fan favourite, so we’ve added this premium liquor to our ever-popular Neighborhood Drink of the Month," said Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation, in a statement. "If you’re looking for a new cocktail to cheers to summer with, the Malibu Dollarmama has you covered."
