Chilling meaning behind messages written on women’s bodies in never-before-seen Jeffrey Epstein photos

Haunting new images from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate have been released by House Oversight Committee Democrats, showing women with disturbing messages written on their bodies.

The December 18 release includes 68 previously-unseen photographs, just ahead of a key deadline for the Department of Justice to disclose further Epstein-related files under new federal law.

Among the newly revealed photos are haunting depictions of women with literary passages scrawled across their skin.

Chilling references to Lolita found on bodies

One photo shows a message written across a woman’s chest that reads: “Lo-Lee-ta: The tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth.”

Another includes the line “she was Lola in slacks”, while a third quote is found written on a foot: “She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock.”

Behind the woman in the latter photo is a copy of Lolita, Vladimir Nabokov’s 1955 novel that tells the story of a middle-aged man’s sexual obsession with a 12-year-old girl.

Other quotes, such as “she was Polly at school”, and several more, were reportedly scribbled on women’s chests and necks in additional images.

The faces of the women were censored, and their ages are not known.

One photograph shows Epstein on a plane pointing out of a window, while others depict him with various women whose identities have been redacted.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates appears in two of the images, standing next to a woman with a blurred face.

A spokesperson for Gates has denied any professional connection between him and Epstein, and Gates himself told CNN in 2021: “It was a huge mistake to spend time with him, to give him the credibility of being there," cited by ITV.

The photos also feature Woody Allen alongside Epstein, as well as Donald Trump adviser Steve Bannon and Qatari royal Sheikh Jabor Bin Yousef Bin Jassim Bin Jabor al Thani.

There is no suggestion of wrongdoing by any of the individuals pictured.

Files hint at Epstein’s broader network

The new cache also contains screenshots showing text messages discussing an 18-year-old woman from Russia, but the context and participants remain unknown.

Other images include maps of Epstein’s island, ID documents from several countries, and even a passport with the phrase: “The bearer was convicted of a sex offense against a minor," per The Sun. The identity tied to that passport has not been revealed.

Photos of Epstein’s infamous Great St James Island blueprint were also released, showing development plans adjacent to Little Saint James - the Caribbean island where Epstein resided.

A pair of crossbows and bottles of pills with redacted labels were among the other items in the batch.

Epstein pleaded guilty to a Florida state felony prostitution charge in 2008 and served 13 months in jail.

In 2019, he was charged with sex trafficking of minors and died in a Manhattan jail while awaiting trial.

Ghislaine Maxwell, now 63, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in recruiting underage girls for Epstein.

The files arrived ahead of the December 19 deadline set by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandates the public release of nearly all unclassified Epstein and Maxwell-related records.

These include FBI case files, financial documents, travel logs, internal Justice Department communications, and materials from Epstein’s homes in New York, Florida, and the Virgin Islands.

Federal judges have also cleared the release of grand jury records tied to Epstein’s prosecution and Maxwell’s trial, though some of the content may already be public.

The law explicitly bars redactions based on “embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity” - even when the documents implicate high-ranking officials, billionaires, or foreign leaders.

California Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, issued a statement pushing for full transparency. “It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends,” he said, per BBC News.

“These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW," he added.
