A new simulation has shed light on what happened to Charlie Kirk's head as he was assassinated in front of horrified viewers.
As widely reported, Charlie Kirk was killed on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University during a Turning Point USA event.
Tyler Robinson was apprehended two days later and charged with the murder, and Donald Trump has since called for him to receive the death penalty.
Kirk's funeral was held at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona on September 21, with tens of thousands of people gathering to pay their respects.
Simulation Shows How Kirk Died
The YouTube channel Hoog has since released a video showing exactly how Kirk lost his life, and the chaos that ensued in the immediate aftermath.
The video explains that immediately after hearing the gunshot, Kirk's head jerked backward with a significant volume of blood gushing from his neck.
The video claims that the 31-year-old was partially hit in his jugular and spine, meaning that he would have died almost immediately.
Footage captured by viewers shows that those in the surrounding area began to scream, with some running in panic as others dropped to the floor.
Ex-Marine Calls Neck Shot “Unprofessional”
In a TikTok interview, former U.S. Marine sniper Justin Governale explained why he does not believe the shot was made by a trained marksman.
"I do not believe it was a professionally trained shot," Governale said, adding that in sniper school, neck shots were never a point of focus.
"At no point in my sniper training was I taught to aim for the neck," he explained.
While a neck wound can be fatal, Governale noted that the placement does not guarantee immediate incapacitation — the key objective for professional snipers.
"This is viable in terms of mortality, but not for immediate incapacitation," he added.
Some have speculated that the shooter’s angle could have made the neck a logical target.
Governale pushed back, stressing that trained snipers can adjust for such conditions with ease.
"In the Marine Corps, I can literally say, do I want to hit the left nostril or the right nostril?" he said, pointing out that at distances around 200 yards, a small angle would not affect accuracy.
"If they were trained professionally, they would have zeroed their rifle or at least gotten the data. The shot placement seems off," he added.
Erika Kirk’s Heartbreaking Account
At a memorial service held at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, Erika Kirk delivered a moving tribute, recalling her final moments with her husband’s body in Utah.
"I saw the wound that ended his life. I felt everything he would expect to feel," Erika said, as reported by The Guardian.
"I felt shock. I felt horror, and a level of heartache that I didn’t even know existed. But there was something else, too. Even in death, I could see the man that I love."
She continued: "But there was something else too.
"Even in death, I could see the man that I love… I also saw on his lips the faintest smile."
Erika revealed the surgeon explained the shot was so catastrophic that even immediate surgery wouldn’t have saved him.
"There was no pain, there was no fear, no agony," she said.
"One moment, Charlie was doing what he loved... then he blinked. He blinked and saw his savior in paradise.”
