Over the weekend, the 15-year-old daughter of Kellyanne Conway revealed that she was "officially pushing for emancipation" from her parents.
Taking to Twitter, Claudia Conway revealed:
"I’m officially pushing for emancipation. buckle up because this is probably going to be public one way or another, unfortunately. Welcome to my life."

And last night, in response to her daughter's tweet, Kellyanne revealed on her personal Twitter account that she was stepping down from her role as a senior advisor for the Trump Administration in order to focus on her family.
Last night, 53-year-old Kellyanne posted a tweet to her 3.3 million followers which read: "I'm leaving the White House. Gratefully & Humbly."

And Claudia's father, George Conway, also revealed that he would be making changes in his own career as an attorney on the Lincoln Project, writing on Twitter:
"So I’m withdrawing from @ProjectLincoln to devote more time to family matters. And I’ll be taking a Twitter hiatus.
"Needless to say, I continue to support the Lincoln Project and its mission. Passionately."

However, despite her parents' decisions to drastically move away from their careers to focus on their family, Claudia has once again taken to social media to reveal that she is still going to be seeking independence.
Sharing several videos of herself on TikTok in front of her parents' Twitter announcements, Claudia wrote:
"They didn't even talk about it with any of us .. just tweeted about it. As if this is going to change anything and make me not emancipate myself"
In a follow-up video, Claudia addressed her followers, saying: "Look at what I did, ladies and gentleman," referencing her mom's decision to resign.
However, the teen also captioned the video: "the power i hold - i— they think this is gonna stop me from getting emancipated? [sic]"

Claudia's decision to seek emancipation appears to have been spurred on after learning that her mom was scheduled to be speaking at the upcoming 2020 Republican National Convention - as the teen said she was "devastated" by the decision.

In a follow-up tweet, the teenager said that she has been using her social media platforms as "an outlet to express my passions, individuality, and to shed light on some hardships".

Claudia currently boasts over 282,000 followers on Twitter, more than 616,000 followers on Tiktok, and 85,000+ followers on Instagram.

The 15-year-old then revealed that her mother's job had "ruined her life". Claudia added that it was "heartbreaking" to watch her mother "go down that path after years of watching her children suffer."

She then branded her mom as "selfish", adding that her career is "all about money and fame, ladies and gentlemen."
Clearly these words had an impact on Kellyanne, who attached the following statement with her initial tweet explaining that despite being "grateful" for her role in the White House, she feels it is time to focus on her family.
Her full public statement of resignation can be seen below:
"The past four years have allowed me blessings beyond compare as a part of history on Election Night 2016 and as Senior Counselor to the President. It’s been heady. It’s been humbling.
"I am deeply grateful to the President for this honor, and to the First Lady, the Vice President and Mrs. Pence, my colleagues in the White House and the Administration, and the countless people who supported me and my work.
"As many convention speakers will demonstrate this week, President Trump’s leadership has had a measurable, positive impact on the peace and prosperity of the nation, and on millions of Americans who feel forgotten no more.
"The incredible men, women and children we’ve met along the way have reaffirmed my later-in-
life experience that public service can be meaningful and consequential. For all of its political differences and cultural cleavages, this is a beautiful country filled with amazing people. The promise of America belongs to us all."We disagree about plenty but we are united on what matters most: the kids. Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months.
"As millions of parents nationwide know, kids 'doing school from home' requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times.
"This is completely my choice and my voice. In time, I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama."
