The manhunt for Travis Decker has taken a disturbing turn after police revealed the chilling internet searches he made just days before his three daughters disappeared.

Decker—now charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of kidnapping—is accused of killing his daughters Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5, following a “planned visitation” on May 30.

According to a U.S. Marshals Service affidavit obtained by Fox 13 Seattle and other outlets, Decker searched online for “how to relocate to Canada” and “how does a person move to Canada” on May 26. He also reportedly browsed a Canadian job site.

That was just four days before the girls were last seen.

“The location of the victims' remains is relatively close to the Canadian border and approximately 11 miles from the Pacific Crest Trail, a well-established trail that leads directly to Canada,” the affidavit reads.

Vanished during visitation, found days later

Authorities say Decker took the girls out around 5PM. on May 30. They never returned. An endangered missing persons alert was issued the next day, but by June 2, it had been cancelled.

The bodies of all three girls were found at Rock Island Campground near Leavenworth, Washington—near where Decker’s pickup truck was also discovered.

Inside the truck, police reportedly found two bloody handprints, along with a blanket, food, car seats, and Decker’s wallet. Court documents also state Decker’s phone data shows he drove to and from the campground a day before the abduction.

The cause of death, according to a preliminary report seen by Fox 13 Seattle, is believed to be “asphyxiation.”

"A significant risk, if approached"

Police believe Decker is on the run and may be trying to flee the country. They’ve warned the public not to approach him, describing him as dangerous due to his military background.

“We are searching anywhere and everywhere for him,” Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison said.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to his capture.
