According to documents obtained by TMZ, a deaf man is suing Pornhub over its lack of closed captioning.
Plaintiff, Yaroslav Suris, is claiming that the absence of subtitles across the adult streaming service is, in fact, a breach of federal law. He alleges that the Canadian website has violated his rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act, which is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against those with disabilities in all sectors of public life.
However, such a lawsuit will undoubtedly encounter issues on account of the fact that Pornhub is primarily a free service.

So despite watching Pornhub's videos, Suris was unable to wholly understand them due to the lack of subtitles. He even listed a number of titles that he was unable to enjoy, including: Hot Step Aunt Babysits Disobedient Nephew, Sexy Cop Gets Witness to Talk and Daddy 4K – Allison Comes to Talk About Money to Her Boys’ Naughty Father.

Pornhub's Vice President, Corey Price, has since issued a statement to TMZ asserting that the website does actually have a closed captions subsection. "We understand that Yaroslav Suris is suing Pornhub for claiming we’ve denied the deaf and hearing impaired access to our videos," he said. "While we do not generally comment on active lawsuits, we’d like to take this opportunity to point out that we do have a closed captions category."
The lawsuit caused quite a stir on Twitter. "Pure laziness by Pornhub. How difficult can it be to put Uuurgggggaaaahhhhomygodohmygodoooo along the bottom of every video?" joked one social media user, while another added "I’m sure Pornhub will make sure he cums out ok over this."
"Nobody watches porn with the volume turned up so WHY does he need closed captioning," wrote a third.
The lawsuit is ongoing.
