People think Donald Trump called into live TV to rant about Supreme Court tariff decision
People are convinced that Donald Trump called into a live politics show using a fake name to rant about the US Supreme Court’s decision on his tariffs.
Is it really the POTUS on the line, you be the judge.
Donald Trump has used this name before
Donald Trump is no stranger to a bizarre outburst, and isn’t someone who refuses to speak his mind on every occasion.
However, people are now convinced that the President of the United States called in to C-SPAN’s Washington Journal show on Friday under a false name to rant about a recent Supreme Court decision on his tariffs.
The caller, identified as John Barron, a Republican from Virginia, sounds suspiciously like the US President, even down to calling Democrat Hakeem Jeffries ‘a dope’ and taking a swipe at Chuck Schumer.
Interestingly enough, John Barron is a name that Trump has allegedly used before when talking to journalists.
So, is this really Trump calling in to rant on public TV about his own policies and the political process?
Is John Barron really Donald Trump?
One thing is for sure - this call did happen, as the call took place on Friday and can be found on the C-SPAN website.
However, whether it is the POTUS or not is anyone’s guess.
Some believe it was The Donald himself, and others are convinced it is just an accurate impression, or perhaps even an AI voice changer.
It definitely sounds like him, and there are many who believe the President called up himself to get his feelings off his chest.
One person wrote: “Wait, the leader of the free world is making prank phone calls?!
“Is he back at a 5th grade sleepover party?
“Is he going to put a whoopee cushion on Hakeem's seat in the House next and toilet paper the DNC?”
Another wrote: “What an embarrassment. It’s so obviously the toddler in chief. He’s not even smart enough to change the [name or] his voice or his insults. Wake the f*** up GOP.”
However, not everyone was so sure.
One doubter wrote: “Sounds like a Trump impersonator. Not the real Donald. C’mon.”
A second said: “That was hilarious. I respect that caller so much. Good impersonation!”
So, what do you think - was it the real Donald or just a clever prank?
Either way, the caller got cut off before we could get to the truth - so perhaps we'll never know...
Until he calls again that is.
