Shocking footage has emerged of a USPS driver being beaten by two women in broad daylight.

The disturbing video was filmed in Flint, Michigan, and it began to circulate on social media on Friday (April 9) - however, it is not clear what led to the altercation.

In the video, the USPS worker can be seen being dragged on the ground by her hair as the two women mercilessly kick and punch her face.

Watch the graphic video below:

A third older woman attempts to break up the fight, but the man filming the incident pulls her away before she has a chance to get involved.

The postal worker shouts at the women when he is able to get back onto his feet, and it's at this point that they run into their car, shouting: "you hit me first!"

"Granny, no!" he says, clearly out of breath. "You gotta let this happen. I don't want them to hit you. Oh my God!"

Someone can be heard off-camera shouting: "Y'all goin to jail."

It's then that the man recording the incident says: "Y'all hit the mailman! They tryna get that stimulus, this s*** get serious!"

The cameraman then focuses on the side of the mailman's van, which seems to imply that the argument was caused by a fender.

At the end, the man recording says: "They hit this mail lady's car."

This footage comes after USPS said that it intended to deliver an estimated 60 million stimulus checks this month after the CARES Act was passed by Congress under the previous Trump administration.
