Trump is never far from the headlines, but even this one is pretty bizarre, and it was all because of a press conference on May 31.
The President did nothing wrong, but he made the mistake of having his phone screen visible... which the internet has had a field day with.
Political commentator Harry Sisson was quick to jump on TikTok to share the discovery, and he didn’t hold back.
“Donald Trump was holding a press conference and his phone screen was seen. Can you take a guess as to what the lockscreen photo is?” Harry asked viewers. “If you guess himself, you'd be absolutely right.”
According to Sisson, the image on Trump’s phone appeared to be an AI-enhanced campaign photo from his most recent election run.
And while some might consider it a bold or confident move, the internet had other opinions.
Harry didn’t mince words in his TikTok, suggesting that the choice says a lot about Trump’s personality.
“Do you know how narcissistic you have to be to want yourself to be the home screen?” he asked.
“You'd be constantly looking at yourself. Normal people might have a photo of themselves and others — family or friends — but no, in Donald Trump's world, it's a constant him.”
Sisson went on to claim that this sort of behavior isn’t new for Trump. “He just loves admiring what he looks like, but it's very strange.”
And the internet wasted no time weighing in. The TikTok post has already racked up over 71,000 likes, sparking thousands of comments from amused — and bewildered — viewers.
One commenter wrote: “Narcissism on full display.”
Another added a touch of humor: “Did he Google that and download it? Probably not, but it's a funny thought.”
And a third person compared the move to a classic ego-trip: “It's like people who have portraits of themselves hanging at home. It's so odd.”
Still, not everyone saw the wallpaper as a big deal. Some commenters defended the choice, arguing it’s actually pretty common.
“So? I have myself too it’s quite common actually,” one person said.
Perhaps this is the least of Trump's worries at the moment after Elon Musk publicly left his administration.
The billionaire tech mogul’s 130-day stint as co-lead of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under President Donald Trump has come to an end.
In an unusually warm response, Trump finally acknowledged Musk’s exit on his social platform, Truth Social.
“This will be his last day, but not really, because he will, always, be with us, helping all the way,” the president wrote. “Elon is terrific!”
