Donald Trump Jr. has been ridiculed on social media after appearing to make a grammatical error on the front cover of his new book, Joe Biden and the Democrat's Defense of the Indefensible.
"Thrilled to announce that during the last few months of quarantine, I’ve been working on a new book, LIBERAL PRIVILEGE! Blown away by what Biden has gotten away with, more details next week! Libs already triggered!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
As Indy100 notes, Trump Jr. appears to have opted to tweet only a small portion of the book's title in the above message. Per Axios, the book's full title is Joe Biden and the Democrat's Defense of the Indefensible.
The error? You might have spotted it already, but just in case, here's Journalist Garrett Graff who points out the incorrect placement of the apostrophe in the title.
"Do you think we should tell @DonaldJTrumpJr that there’s a typo on his book cover? He means “the Democrats’ defense of the indefensible.” He wrote.
"(Yes, I did wonder if he could just mean one Dem—but I’m assuming since he has Pelosi and Schumer on the cover too, he means multiple Dems.)" he added.
Graff later clarified his original tweet, stating that there were, in fact, three errors on the book cover.
He wrote, "Just to clarify: There are actually three typos on @DonaldJTrumpJr’s new book cover. Best-selling should be hyphenated and there should be a comma before Jr., e.g., Donald Trump, Jr."
Speaking of the news of Trump Jr.'s new book, Biden's national press secretary TJ Ducklo told Axios, "Is there anything more on brand than Donald Trump Jr. trying to cash in on a book filled with disgusting lies and smears about Joe Biden?"
"This is the latest in a series of desperate and pathetic attempts to distract from the president's historic bungling of the coronavirus response." He continued.
