Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter to brag about his father's presidency last Friday (January 22), and it backfired spectacularly.
The 43-year-old tweeted that his father is the "first president in modern history" to not start a new war.
The full tweet reads with the following grammatical error: "Donald Trump is the first president in modern history did [sic] not start a new war."
Trump Jr.'s tweet, however, fails to mention the fact that his father is the only president in history to have been impeached twice, and, per Indy100, did not adequately tackle the ongoing pandemic which has lead to the deaths of more than 400,000 Americans.
As a result, people were quick to reply with the information that the 43-year-old failed to include.
Watch Donald Trump's final presidential address:"More Americans died during Trump's presidency than died in World War I or World War II," Atlantic contributing editor Norman Ornstein replied.
"Didn't feel that way a couple [of] weeks ago when I was barricaded in my office," Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan Boyle added.
Kyle Griffin added: "He is, however, the first president to incite an insurrection on the U.S. Capitol. He's also the first president to be impeached twice. Oh, and he's also the first modern president to leave the U.S. with a smaller workforce than it had when he took office."
Legal analyst Renato Mariotti similarly added: "Donald Trump is the first president in history to incite a mob to attack the United States Capitol."
Attorney Seth Abramson wrote: "Come for the obvious typo, stay for the fact that more Americans died of Trump's failed pandemic response in 10 months than died in the four years of World War 2.
"Then continue staying for the fact that Trump is the first president in modern history who tried to start a civil war."
Jules Suzdaltsev wrote: "A Civil War is still a war, even if you lose immediately."
Meanwhile, Andrew Goss wrote: "Your twice impeached daddy didn't do anything when Russia placed bounties on the heads of our service members."
Donald Trump Jr.'s tweet comes after the House delivered its articles of impeachment against Donald Trump to the Senate.
