President Donald Trump is no stranger to tense exchanges with the press, but his latest mid-flight meltdown is already being described as one of his most aggressive moments yet.
During a recent press gaggle aboard Air Force One, Trump was grilled about the latest Epstein files, and things escalated fast.
Just days before the flight, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee dropped three newly uncovered emails allegedly tied to Jeffrey Epstein.
The correspondence (reportedly obtained from Epstein’s estate) immediately reignited questions about who knew what, and when.
In one email to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein called Trump “that dog that hasn’t barked,” adding that a trafficking victim had spent “hours at my house with him” without Trump ever being named publicly.
Maxwell replied ominously: “I have been thinking about that…”
Another message involving biographer Michael Wolff had Epstein claiming Trump privately insisted he “asked me to resign” from Mar-a-Lago (which Epstein disputed) and then added: “Of course, he knew about the girls… as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”
Trump has repeatedly denied knowing anything about Epstein’s crimes or recruitment at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump Snaps at Reporter: “Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.”
Facing questions about the emails, Trump told reporters he had “a very bad relationship” with Epstein and insisted: “I know nothing about that. They would have announced it a long time ago.”
But things took a sharp turn when a Bloomberg reporter asked if anything “incriminating” appeared in the released documents. Trump pointed his finger at her and said: "Quiet. Quiet, Piggy."
The insult immediately went viral.
“Piggy” is a slur allegedly used by Trump for years – most infamously against former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who said he mocked her weight and called her “Miss Piggy” while she held the crown.
Online, many people seemed to raise the same questions about Trump's hurtful words, with one person taking to TikTok to ask why the President gets away with this behavior, and even pondering what would have happened had Obama reacted the same way.
"Take a minute and imagine if Joe Biden, Barack Obama, any other President in American history called a reporter a piggy," another TikToker asked.
Another Blow-Up Over Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes
Just 48 hours later, Trump clashed with a different reporter who asked about Tucker Carlson’s interview with far-right figure Nick Fuentes.
Trump praised Carlson’s past coverage, bragged about their interview getting “300 million hits,” and then snapped when the reporter attempted a follow-up.
“You are the worst… I don’t know why they even have you,” he said, again targeting a Bloomberg journalist.
Viral Flag Photo Sparks Another Mini-Scandal
As if the weekend wasn’t chaotic enough, a photo soon circulated showing Trump walking past what appeared to be an American flag drooping so low it nearly touched the ground – a violation of U.S. Flag Code, according to PEOPLE.
Critics accused the White House of negligence.
But the administration quickly pushed back.
Spokesman Davis Ingle called the outrage “fake news,” explaining that high winds forced staff to lower the flag temporarily into a protective container during a Marine One landing.
Between the Epstein email fallout, his hostility toward the press, and yet another viral optics controversy, Trump’s weekend raised more questions than answers.
And with ongoing political pressure to reveal the remaining Epstein files, things are only getting messier from here.
