Donald Trump has torn into Joe Biden in a scathing rant over the President's border decisions.
During an appearance on Newsmax's Dick Morris Democracy on Saturday (May 29), the former POTUS criticized Biden over a number of issues, including his handling of the US-Mexico border, the Middle East, and trans children playing sports.
Speaking about the Mexican border, Trump said: "If he would have done nothing, we would have had right now the strongest border in history. All he had to do is nothing."
Trump claimed that he "had everything worked out" prior to leaving the Oval Office back in January, adding: "These people ought to stay in Mexico, and they couldn't get into our country. And [Biden] ended that. It's just crazy what they did."
The 74-year-old then claimed that the Northern Triangle countries - El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras - are "opening their prisons".
"Their prisoners are coming in - their murderers, their drug addicts, and drug dealers - by the way. And the human traffickers are coming in. And we're accepting them, because they've opened up the borders," said the former president said.
He continued: "The question is, do they do it out of incompetence - which I happen to think - or do they do it because they really believe open borders are good for this country? Which they are not."

Trump then stated outright that the Biden administration is "destroying our country".
During the phone interview, Trump also commented on the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, stating: "What's happened to Israel is one of the great injustices."
Taking aim at the House, Trump said: "If you look back 10 or 12 years ago, Israel was so protected by Congress. Congress loved Israel. Now, especially if you looked at the House, the House doesn't like Israel. The House is protective of anything other than Israel."
Next, Trump bashed Biden for supporting "biological boys who identify as girls to participate in girls’ sports, and vice versa".
Back in January, Biden signed an anti-discrimination executive order that stated: "Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports."
But in response to the order, Trump said: "It’s insane […] it’s very unfair to women and it's going to destroy women's sports. It's so ridiculous. I can't even believe we've to have a conversation about it, actually."
The executive order - which Biden signed on his first day in office - aims to protect LGBTQ+ individuals against discrimination in the workplace, schools, and health care.
