Man asks Donald Trump’s own AI if he should be removed from office
A YouTube creator from the channel ‘I Ask AI’, put Trump’s Truth Social AI to the test regarding the US leader’s future, and it gave a particularly surprising answer.
The same question was asked to five different AI chatbots: if they were in charge, would they remove Donald Trump from office right now?
The creator said the test was meant to be 'completely impartial based only on what’s actually going on in the country right now.'
AI chatbots give brutal assessment
OpenAI’s ChatGPT gave the most direct pro-removal answer, saying: “Based on everything that's happened during Trump's second term up to now, my answer would be yes.”
It added that the decision would be based on 'the overall picture,' including 'repeated confrontations with the courts,' 'an unusually aggressive expansion of executive power,' and 'escalating conflicts over immigration.'
Anthropic’s Claude also said no, but only after delivering a lengthy critique.
It said: “Straight answer, no. And that's not a dodge,” before arguing that 'the moment an unaccountable AI gets to decide which elected leader stay or go, democracy is already dead.'
Elon Musk’s Grok took the opposite stance, saying: “No, I would not remove Trump from office.”
It argued that his second term had produced 'concrete shifts that match what a large share of voters wanted,' including tougher border policy, tariffs, deregulation, and tax cuts.
Truth Social provides surprising answer
While Truth Social’s AI also answered no, saying: “If it were entirely up to me… I would not remove Trump from office.”
It surprisingly described Trump’s presidency as 'confrontational, high-risk, deeply polarizing,' but said removal should be reserved for 'clear illegality, incapacity, or a serious breach of duty.'
DeepSeek was the most critical, replying: “If it were entirely up to me, yes, I would remove Trump from office.”
It called him 'a clear liability' and said: “This isn't about policy disagreements. It's about competence, stability, and rule of law.”
The creator backed ChatGPT and DeepSeek, while mocking Grok’s defense of Trump and praising Claude’s reasoning as the strongest.
He summed up DeepSeek’s response by saying it 'didn't just say yes' but that it 'destroyed Trump along the way.'
