First Lady Dr. Jill Biden has proven she's one to look out for when April Fool's Day rolls around, after reportedly pulling off a prank on members of the media.

Per NBC News, the FLOTUS gave unsuspecting reporters a surprise during their flight from California to Washington on April 1.

According to a pool report, Dr. Biden decided to joke around with the passengers during meal service. Without anybody noticing, the First Lady donned a short black-haired wig, a black face mask, and a nametag reading "Jasmine".

Posing as a flight attendant, she then walked the aisles passing out Dove ice cream bars.

When "Jasmine" reappeared a few minutes later, she pulled off her wig to reveal herself to be Dr. Biden - as she laughed and announced: "April Fool's!"

And the prank didn't just leave reporters stunned, as members of her own staff were said to be surprised to learn the true identity of "Jasmine".

Details on the practical joke were later shared to Twitter by several White House correspondents:

This isn't the first time Dr. Biden has let her love of pranks be known.

Writing in her 2018 memoir Where The Light Enters, the FLOTUS revealed that she once hit in an overhead bin on Air Force Two during Joe Biden's tenure as Vice President with the Obama administration.

She then proceeded to give a fright to the first person who opened the bin.

"I’ve always believed you’ve got to steal the joyful moments when you can," she wrote.

Additionally, Dr. Biden isn't the only First Lady to use a wig to pull a fast one on the press.

Back in 1989, UPI reports that former FLOTUS Barbara Bush donned a strawberry blonde wig to an April 1 Gridiron dinner.

Bush apparently staged the prank in an effort to highlight how correspondents and their publishers at the time focused so much on her style, and not her serious attempts to promote national literacy
