Explicit TikTok messages sent by special education teacher, 22, to student she allegedly had sex with emerge
The disturbing TikTok messages a special education teacher sent to a student she allegedly had sex have been revealed.
Nadia Horn, a 22-year-old special education teacher at North High School in Wisconsin, was arrested in March and has been charged with several child sex crimes.
The Eau Claire Police Department (ECPD) revealed in a press release that the charges were filed after the Eau Claire Area School District contacted the ECPD "about a potential inappropriate relationship between a staff member and a student".
School staff raised concerns about Horn's behavior
The investigation reportedly began after concerns about Horn's interactions involving students were reported to Detective Craig Richter, the school’s resource officer, on March 20, 2026.
North High School administrators informed Richter that the teacher had allegedly brought a student a phone, driven them around, and asked them to connect with her on Snapchat.
At that time, there had been no allegations of sexual misconduct. However, five days later, a student disclosed allegations of sexual misconduct involving Horn to the administrators.
The student told investigators that Horn had begun sending him increasingly inappropriate messages and photographs.
According to a report by Law & Crime, they described the pictures Horn allegedly sent as "really revealing" and claimed that Horn sent messages suggesting that seeing him at school "made her body feel a certain way".
The student also alleged that Horn invited him to her apartment, where inappropriate encounters took place.
In one account detailed in the complaint, he described feeling "trapped" when the educator rested her head on his lap while they were watching television.
He said that they "did everything sexual you can do with a person," and added that this happened every time he went to her apartment.
Investigators also interviewed a second student who made similar allegations about encounters at Horn's apartment.
Police uncovered messages involving a third student
It was revealed that there was a third victim, a 15-year-old freshman at the school.
The student told police he knew Horn because she was an assistant coach for basketball, and that he added her on Snapchat to talk about basketball.
However, police say their communications eventually became sexual in nature.
Investigators allegedly uncovered TikTok messages Horn sent to the 15-year-old between March 8 and March 24.
In one message, dated March 10, she told the student: "Well, damn (Victim's name)" with a smiley face emoji." In another message dated March 14, she wrote: "Ugh my fyp (for you page) so good. [Victim 3] I shouldn't want you as bad as I do."
Further messages show her saying: "Gosh, I hope you know how much I crave you every second." Two minutes later, she said, "You know how much I'm gonna want you every time I see you now."
A couple of minutes after that, she wrote: "Oh [expletive] baby, the things I'd do."
Investigators also documented a message in which Horn referred to the student's age group, writing: "There's not a lot of high schoolers that know High School Musical, but I'm glad you do."
Some of the texts were reportedly sent during school hours. Police also discovered evidence that images and videos had been exchanged, although the contents of those materials were not fully established in the documents discussed.
Horn faces multiple felony charges
Horn is facing charges including second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16, two counts of child enticement, and two counts of sexual assault of a child by a person who works or volunteers with children.
At the time, Nightly reported that she could face up to 40 years in prison and a fine of $100,000.
However, the case expanded in July when prosecutors filed additional charges, including repeated sexual assault of a child, child enticement, and use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.
Following her arrest, Superintendent Mike Johnson sent a letter to the families of students, revealing that Horn had been "suspended without pay, pending legal resolution."
"Learning about alleged inappropriate conduct by a staff member is deeply troubling for all of us. We kindly request that the school community respect the privacy of our students and their families and refrain from spreading rumors or speculation. Our Student Services staff are available to help any child or staff who may be experiencing difficulties with this news," he said.
"Providing a safe, caring environment for your children is our most important responsibility in the Eau Claire Area School District. We take this responsibility very seriously," he added.
