The beloved actress added another milestone to her legendary career, winning Best Actress at the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards for her gripping performance in The Substance.

The ceremony, held Friday at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, was a star-studded affair celebrating Hollywood’s best and brightest.

Moore triumphed over a highly competitive field of nominees, including Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Karla Sofia Gascon (Emilia Perez), Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths), Angelina Jolie (Maria), and Mikey Madison (Anora).

Her win comes on the heels of widespread acclaim for her role as Elisabeth Sparkle, a struggling actress caught in a sinister quest for eternal youth in the dark horror-comedy film The Substance.

Red Carpet Glamour

Before taking the stage to accept her award, Moore turned heads on the Critics Choice red carpet in a jaw-dropping Schiaparelli couture corset gown.

The structured design featured a cinched waist and exaggerated hip, a signature of the luxury fashion house. The gown’s shimmering bodice and shredded skirt silhouette added a daring touch, while glimpses of skin peeked through the avant-garde design.

Moore accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, dark blue heels adorned with a pearl detail, and opted for a sleek updo with smoky eyeshadow and a nude lip, creating a bold yet elegant aesthetic.

Over on social media, praise was in abundance for the actress - as fans could hardly believe just how incredible Moore looked at 62 years old.

"Demi Moore at 62 years old. SNATCHED," one X user wrote. A second wrote: "Demi Moore went from being 62 years old to being 35 years old."

"I just ask the universe to allow me to look as amazing as Demi Moore at 62 years old," added a third.

After giving fans an up-close look at her outfit on Instagram, Moore's comments section was once again flooded with praise, with one person writing: "Stop the hottest woman alive".

"Just TOO stunning", added a second, while another commented: "WOW Stunning".

A Performance That Stole the Spotlight

The experimental treatment manifests a younger version of herself, played by Margaret Qualley, leading to a chaotic and dangerous dual existence. The film has been hailed for its psychological depth, eerie storytelling, and Moore’s powerful performance -- which has been a driving force behind its success.

Accepting her award, Moore expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition: “I’m truly honored to receive this recognition. This role challenged me in ways I never expected, and I’m grateful to everyone who believed in this project.”

The win further cements Moore’s remarkable awards season run, adding to her first Golden Globe win for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical earlier this year.

During her speech at the Golden Globes, Moore shared that she had been in the industry for over four decades, and yet that win was "the first time" that she's ever won "anything as an actor".

She then opened up about the fact she considered quitting the film business before being cast in The Substance.

“Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me I was a popcorn actress, and, at that time, I made that mean this wasn’t something I was allowed to have," she revealed. "I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but I couldn't be acknowledged and I bought in and I believed that.

"That corroded me over time to the point where I thought a few years ago that maybe this was it. Maybe I was complete, maybe I'd done what I was supposed to do," she continued. "And when I was at kind of a low point, I had this magical, bold, courageous, out-of-the-box absolutely bonkers script come across my desk called The Substance, and the universe told me you’re not done."

Next Stop: The Academy Awards

With her Golden Globes and Critics Choice victories, Moore now stands as a top contender for the upcoming 2025 Academy Awards, where she is among the five nominees for Best Actress.
