It has been three weeks since the death of George Floyd.

The 46-year-old's death following his arrest by Minneapolis police officers sparked a wave of protests - some peaceful, some violent - across the US and in major cities across the world, as people called out the systemic injustices carried out against black people.

As well as a call for justice for people like Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, these ongoing protests are also demanding an end to police brutality and the racism that is so deeply entrenched in the western world.

However, despite the protests resulting in a lot of positives, they have also sparked an influx of racial tension.

Case-in-point, a 23-year-old FedEx worker from Ohio has shared a heartbreaking video of him breaking down in tears after he says a man spat on him and called the 'N-word' as he was working.

In the Facebook Live video, Brandon Brackins said that while he was revmoving packages out of the delivery truck, a man sped around him - almost hitting Brackins - before calling him the 'N-word' and spitting on him.

A tearful Brackins starts the video by saying: "So, what the f**k is the point of all this protest s**t if it don’t work?"

Describing the upsetting experience, Brackins said:

"I'm in the country right now, and I'm delivering... and I'm sitting at a f**king stop, and I'm waiting to get out - there's a lot of cars waiting.

"And as I'm getting the package out the back of the truck, some f**king hick speeds around me - damned near hit me - called me a "n***er" and spit on me."

Brackins then lets out a scream of emotion pain, explaining that he "wants to bury somebody right now".

"Why? Why so much hate? Why so much hate?", he asked.

Brackins then explained that he had pulled over because he couldn't think straight.

In a comment on the post, Brackins said: "This really hit hard especially right now in this time, but simply trying to do my job."

Since posting the video to Facebook on Wednesday, it has received over 1.1 million views, and the delivery driver has received an outpouring of support.

One Facebook user commented: "Can not imagine how you feel. Your value is not based on the opinion of others. They do not define you. There are so many out here that value you for who you are."

Another added: "Brandon I am SO sorry that this happened to you. I love you!!!! F**k that guy. You are an amazing person, and that really makes me sick that this happened. Sending you so much love."

Brackins also confirmed in a follow-up comment that he will be pursuing legal action, writing: "Oh trust me I am currently getting the cops involved got him on camera and his car. Handling that and trust me I’m definitely gonna give love back it means soo much too me. [sic]"
