Findings revealed after investigators search Epstein's ranch for human remains
Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico has long been the center of dark allegations, but recent investigations have raised new questions about the crimes that may have taken place there. Virginia Giuffre’s family has returned to the property, where her own abuse took place, to demand accountability for the crimes Epstein committed.
Her brother, Sky Roberts, and his wife, Amanda, have been at the forefront of the campaign for truth, as the secrets surrounding the ranch remain largely hidden despite years of investigation.
Though Epstein's criminal case ended with his death in 2019, public interest in his activities has led to renewed investigations. In March 2026, the New Mexico Department of Justice conducted a search at Zorro Ranch, hoping to find evidence related to the abuse survivors have reported. A bipartisan Truth Commission has also been launched to explore the scope of Epstein’s crimes and uncover the truth about the operations at the ranch, The New York Post reported at the time.
Search efforts and new leads
On March 9, investigators used specialized dogs to search for human remains on the sprawling ranch grounds, though no bodies were found, ITV News reports. Drones were also employed to create a 3D map of the estate, which could provide clues to the investigation.
The search is part of a broader effort to uncover the full extent of Epstein's crimes. Workers on the ranch have reported being forced to sign non-disclosure agreements, adding another layer of secrecy to the investigation.
A disturbing tip-off in 2019 claimed that two foreign girls were murdered and buried at the ranch after dying during violent sexual acts. This anonymous lead has been passed to investigators, but so far, no conclusive evidence has emerged.
Eddy Aragon, a local radio host who received the tip, believes it may have come from someone who worked at the ranch, though efforts to contact the informant have been unsuccessful. Aragon remains committed to finding the truth behind the ranch’s dark history.
Connections to public figures
The ongoing investigation is also examining whether high-profile figures, such as former Prince Andrew, were ever involved at Zorro Ranch. While it is known that he visited New Mexico in 2003, it remains unclear whether he visited Epstein at the ranch.
Andrea Romero, chair of New Mexico’s Truth Commission, has suggested to ITV News that it is "likely" that Prince Andrew visited Epstein, and she has expressed the desire to have him testify about his connections to the ranch.
As investigators continue to look into the abuse and crimes that took place at Zorro Ranch, survivors are still seeking justice. Many victims have already been denied the opportunity to pursue legal action due to expired statutes of limitations.
The New Mexico Truth Commission is working hard to uncover the facts, but as Romero pointed out, much of the investigation should have been done long ago. Despite the challenges, the commission remains dedicated to uncovering the truth and holding those responsible accountable.
