Marjorie Taylor Greene left onlookers stunned after lashing out at a UK reporter, telling them to "go back to your country" after they questioned her over leaked Signal messages.
The 50-year-old Georgia congresswoman, known for her no-holds-barred style and controversial takes, exploded during a tense press interaction with Sky News correspondent Martha Kelner on March 26.
The moment began when Kelner attempted to question Greene about US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s involvement in a Signal group chat blunder - where The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg was accidentally added by security adviser Mike Waltz during conversations about military strikes on the Houthis in Yemen.
Before Kelner could finish her sentence, Greene abruptly cut her off with: “What country are you from?” After Kelner answered she was from the UK, Greene shot back: “We don't give a cr*p about your opinion and your reporting.
"Why don't you go back to your country, where you have a major migrant problem? You should care about your own borders," she blasted.
The British journalist pushed forward, asking if Greene cared about American lives potentially being endangered due to the Signal slip-up.
Greene didn’t address the question - instead launching into another tirade: “Let me tell you something - do you care about people from your country? What about all the women that are raped by migrants? You're done. I don't care about your fake news.”

The representative turned to a US reporter, asking if he had “a relevant question." In a show of support for Kelner, the American journalist repeated her question to Greene, but the congresswoman dug in her heels.
“I'm not answering her question because I don't care about her network. If you would like to ask, I can answer,” Greene said.
Still dodging the original question, Greene pivoted to criticize the Biden administration, saying: “You should talk about the Biden administration and how they ripped our borders open to terrorists, cartel, child sex trafficking, human trafficking, and drug trafficking across our borders for four years.
“The Trump administration is doing a great job, and I stand by their statements," she continued. "My comment to you is I'm thankful to President Trump, that he is leading us out of wars, that he's ending the war in Ukraine where American lives could have been killed if Joe Biden was still President today, whether he liked it or not.”

The 50-year-old then circled back to the hearing and insisted: “We're talking about NPR and PBS today. We're talking about fake news that was funded with federal funding from American taxpayers.
"That's what this is about today. Not journalists from the UK that should care about their own country," she concluded before walking away.
Kelner later spoke on Sky News about the incident, saying that Greene - like many others - relies on "a strategy of discredit, distract, and deny" when "confronted by crisis like this".
"She is an absolute master of it," Kelner said, criticizing Greene for opting to talk about the Biden Administration and the UK rather than answer the question posed to her.

"This is not just something that Marjorie Taylor Greene is saying, this is what Team Trump is doing as a whole when they're reacting to this fiasco that's unfolding. They're casting the villain of this piece as the journalist at the center of it," Kelner continued.
