Jeffrey Epstein shared chilling opinion of Donald Trump in newly-released email

Newly released documents reveal that Jeffrey Epstein shared a chilling opinion of President Donald Trump.

Among the 20,000+ pages unveiled this week by the House Oversight Committee, Epstein is seen describing Trump as “dangerous” in a 2017 email exchange with former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers.

The message, sent just weeks after the president's inauguration, paints a picture of what the disgraced financier privately thought of the president.

“Recall Ive told you,, -- i have met some very bad people , none as bad as trump. not one decent cell in his body.. so yes- dangerous,” he wrote on February 8, 2017, according to ABC News.

Trump Accused of ‘Knowing About The Girls’ in Epstein’s 2019 Email

The emails, which include conversations with Ghislaine Maxwell and journalist Michael Wolff, also reveal repeated mentions of the 79-year-old in the context of Epstein’s criminal circle.

In a 2019 email to Wolff, Epstein claimed: “Trump said he asked me to resign, never a member ever. . of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop.”

Another message, dated April 2, 2011, hinted at Trump’s presence around Epstein’s victims.

The sex offender wrote to Maxwell: “I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump,” referring to a redacted victim who had spent “hours” with Trump at Epstein’s home. Maxwell allegedly responded: “I have been thinking about that...”

Though Trump was not ultimately questioned about Epstein during the 2016 campaign, despite Wolff suggesting it as a potential debate topic, the resurfaced exchanges are now fueling renewed outrage online.

The White House has pushed back hard. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed the emails as a “Democrat hoax,” arguing the “unnamed victim” was the late Virginia Giuffre, who has said Trump “was not involved in any wrongdoing whatsoever and 'couldn’t have been friendlier' to her in their limited interactions".

Leavitt alleged: “President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for being a creep to his female employees, including Giuffre.”

Spokesperson Abigail Jackson also chimed in: “These emails prove literally nothing. Liberal outlets are desperately trying to use this Democrat distraction to talk about anything other than Democrats getting utterly defeated by President Trump in the shutdown fight," PEOPLE reported.

JD Vance's 2021 Epstein Tweet Comes Back To Haunt Him

A resurfaced 2021 social media post from JD Vance, now Trump’s vice president, is drawing fresh attention in light of the revelations.

The tweet, which was dated September 4, 2021, read: “I think about this @matthewwalther column about once a month.”

The column he referenced, titled "The Jeffrey Epstein case is why people believe in Pizzagate,” was written by Matthew Walther for The Week in 2019.

In a follow-up to the same tweet, Vance added: “Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don’t talk about it.”

Now, critics are pointing to that post as ironic, given the 41-year-old's current silence on the new Epstein documents and his alignment with the president.

“So why aren't you talking about it now, and why isn't your boss releasing all the information that would supposedly prove his lack of guilt?” one social media user asked.

Others echoed similar sentiments, with journalist Mehdi Hasan posting: “Yes, yes, we remember!”
