President-elect Joe Biden has fractured his foot while playing with his dog, leaving him with a limp.
Sky News reports that while the 78-year-old is walking with a limp, he does not require any additional support from a walking aid or plaster.
Biden's injury was revealed during a CT scan in Newark, Delaware, on Sunday afternoon. It showed two, small fractured bones in the middle of his right foot, his doctor Kevin O'Connor said in a statement.
"It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks," O'Connor added.
In a surprising turn of events, as per Sky News, Donald Trump even contacted Biden to wish him a speedy recovery.

News of Biden's injury comes just days after he released a Thanksgiving message to the American people, in which, he declared "we're at war with the virus, not each other".
Watch Biden's Thanksgiving address below:"None of the steps we are asking people to take are political statements," he added, as he called for unity. "We're at war with a virus. Not one another," Biden said.
"I'm hoping the news of the vaccine will serve as an incentive to every American to take these simple steps to get control of the virus," he said.
"Don't let yourself surrender to the fatigue, which I understand it is real fatigue. I know we can beat this virus. America is not going to lose this war. We'll get our lives back. Life is going to return to normal. I promise you this will happen. This will not last forever."
