President Joe Biden is offering free beer to the general public on the condition that 70% of Americans get vaccinated by Independence Day.

Per CNN, the POTUS made the pledge in a White House press conference held on Wednesday, June 2, in which he announced his so-called "National Month of Action" as part of his administration's response to the COVID pandemic.

To that end, brewery Anheuser-Busch is collaborating with the White House to offer 200,000 lucky Americans over the age of 21 a free round of beer if the President's vaccination target is met by July 4, 2021.

Biden stated it would take "The federal government, the state governments, local, tribal and territorial governments, private sector, and most importantly the American people, to get to this 70% mark so we can declare our independence from Covid-19 and free ourselves from the grip it has held over us."

Take a look at this clip from the President's speech in the video below:

Per CNN, in an official press release, Anheuser-Busch CEO Michel Doukeris stated: "We are committed to supporting the safe and strong recovery of our nation and being able to be together again at the places and with the people we have missed so much.

"This commitment includes encouraging Americans to get vaccinated, and we are excited to buy Americans 21+ a round of beer when we reach the White House goal."

However, Biden is not the only politician offering rewards to the public in a bid to entice them to get vaccinated.
