Joe Rogan has branded Donald Trump "f***ing dangerous" and labeled his supporters as "morons."

Per HuffPost, the UFC commentator said Trump supporters could become more violent after his ban from several prominent social media platforms, as he called for an investigation into the Capitol riots.

Speaking with Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, he stated: "One of the reasons why I think it’s important is because it highlights the reasons why a guy like Donald Trump is so f***ing dangerous."

The comedian then speculated that other similar insurrections could potentially follow suit in the future, comparing the possibility to the steady rise of mass shootings in the United States.

He added: "Now that [Trump’s] silenced off of social media, and now that that actually did happen, once it becomes a thing, it could be like mass shootings, Right? They didn’t exist. Then they did. Now they’re a thing. That could be a thing."

Rogan also spoke about why he turned down an audience with the former POTUS, after being repeatedly asked by Trump's representatives to conduct an interview.

Watch Rogan discuss his potential interview with Trump here:

He explained: "Maybe I would have thought about it in LA. Like, to do a real three-hour thing. But either way, the problem is: it’s a real problem in that I don’t want anybody to be uncomfortable, and I don’t think it’s my role.

"Like, if I’m talking to someone like him there are some uncomfortable things that have to be addressed."

Uproxx reports that, although Rogan endorsed Bernie Sanders in the 2020 primaries, he previously stated that he would have voted for Trump over Biden in the election, branding the incumbent president "mentally compromised."

Per the above publication, Rogan said on a previous episode of his podcast: "I'm not saying that all people who are Trump supporters are morons, but there's a lot of people who are morons that like him because he's talking in this frequency."

Trump was accused by many of inciting the violence in an incendiary speech made to a larger gathering of his supporters prior to the riots - repeatedly insisting without evidence that the Democrats were guilty of voter fraud and that Biden had stolen the election from him.
