It's a fact that sometimes all you need to do to make something amazing is to combine two things that are already awesome. Like Godzilla vs King Kong: put two badass movie monsters together and what do you have? An even better monster movie, that's what.

If you want an example of this when it comes to food, then look no further than the menus of KFC. KFC has decided to launch a new sandwich in certain states in the US that combines one of their signature chicken patties with one of America's favorite snack foods.

That's right, KFC is rolling out a new burger with Cheetos in it, which was previously trialed in a few states at the start of the year. After the test run proved to be "overwhelmingly successful" however, they're going to offer it to the rest of the USA to enjoy.

The sandwich consists of one of KFC's trademark fried chicken patties, a dash of mayo, a 'special Cheetos sauce' and a scattering of Cheetos - all sandwiched between a toasted bun.

A press release stated: "For years, people have been creating their own versions of a Cheetos-fied sandwich at home, and now the fried chicken experts at KFC are launching the Cheetos Sandwich across the U.S. and giving fans the cheesy, crispy crunch that they’ll love.

"After an overwhelmingly successful test earlier this year, Kentucky Fried Chicken and fan-favorite Cheetos are giving fans nationwide access to the sought-after Cheetos Sandwich."

The press release continued: "Both KFC and Cheetos have dedicated fan bases loyal to each new creation, so it only made sense to merge these two iconic brands together to provide an irresistible and flavorful sandwich that gives the best of both worlds."

As if that wasn't exciting enough, KFC is going to release a brand new vegan chicken burger.
