The 'Broadway Girls' musician was apprehended by cops on Thursday (October 24) and is being detained at the Broward County Correctional Facility in Florida, according to XXLMag.

He is currently awaiting extradition to California to face his federal charge and is being held without the possibility of posting bail.

Five other rappers from Chicago - who are alleged OTF affiliates - were also arrested on federal charges. Their names are Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston, as reported by Daily Mail.

It is claimed that the murder-for-hire plot was set up to target rapper Quando Rondo, real name Tyquian Terrel Bowman.

On August 19, 2022, Bowman and his friend Lul Pab were shot at in Los Angeles after pumping gas at a gas station. Rondo came away unscathed but Pab was hit and succumbed to the injuries, per The Mirror.

According to unsealed documents in the US District Court in Los Angeles, OTF members were offered financial support and music opportunities in exchange for Rondo's death.

The document also alleges that the defendants used a credit card in 2022 to travel to Los Angeles in search of Bowman. In addition to this, it states that Kavon London Grant, an alleged OTF affiliate, tracked Rondo down in Los Angeles, and met his co-conspirators.

He then allegedly rented two vehicles which were used to follow Rondo and his family before the fatal shooting.

Rondo was reportedly targeted because of his alleged involvement with the tragic death of Durk's cousin King Von, who was killed in 2020.

The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name was Dayvon Bennett, was one of three men shot and killed outside of the Monaco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta, Georgia, around 3:20AM.

In a statement, authorities said: “During the shooting incident, six men were shot during the group altercation and officer encounter. Bennett and two men died as a result of their injuries, and three were injured and are being treated at a hospital," cited by The Independent.
