A man who has been anointed as the "Living Nostradamus" has shared haunting predictions about the US election.

Millions of Americans are heading to their local polling station to cast their votes for the next president of the United States.

Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the Democratic candidate, and former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, each need at least 270 electoral votes to win.

With the two top candidates locked in one of the closest presidential races in history, a so-called psychic named Athos Salomé has weighed on what will happen if Harris is successful.

While the 38-year-old Brazilian - who is reportedly credited for predicting the Microsoft global outage, 2020 pandemic, and Queen Elizabeth's death - has not predicted a winner, he has alarmingly claimed that there will be an "organized and systematic reaction" from Trump and the Republican Party, per Daily Mail.

This will be similar to when the 78-year-old former leader lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden and falsely alleged that there was widespread voter fraud.

In an interview with the publication, Salomé claimed that there will be a strategic move by Republicans in power who will contest the federal government on their decision.

“In 2024, Trump's defeat will not be a simple political farewell; it will be the start of a coordinated resistance, something unprecedented. If he loses, he probably won't accept the result as legitimate," he said, cited by the outlet.

The seer believes the Republican candidate and his team will try to challenge the loss in the courts, and will hope to rely on the Supreme Court, which includes a majority of Republican-appointed judges, to support their cause.

He suggested the party may try to "block and slow down measures by the new president," and if victorious, it may cause an "institutionalized fragmentation" of society, leading to misinformation spread across the media.

Salomé added that there is a threat of a "parallel reality" where civilians will believe that the newly elected government is "illegitimate, corrupt and a direct threat to true American values".

The "living Nostradamus" believes that the results will create a "crisis of public confidence" in American institutions, and will estrange those who think they live in a "camouflaged dictatorship".

"The consequence will be profound alienation, where millions of American citizens will completely disconnect from traditional sources of information, becoming immune to any attempt at reconciliation with the elected government," he said.

Furthermore, he cautioned that there is a risk of disruption in particular states where uncertainties run highest, and this could result in civil insubordination against the government.

"These states, by becoming less responsive to the federal government, could begin a process of decentralization that directly challenges the country's federal structure," he continued. "This environment of extreme polarization and distrust of democratic institutions could mark the beginning of an era of fragmentation in the United States, where the very concept of the ‘United States of America’ is threatened."

"The unity of the country will be at the mercy of a leader who, even out of power, has a unique and unprecedented influence, capable of molding the reality of a significant fraction of the American population," he concluded.
