One lucky person has had their life changed literally overnight after they woke up to a cool $1.35 billion following a Mega Millions win.

Yep, that's right -- The lucky lottery player correctly played all six numbers on Friday evening (January 13), managing to rake in three months' worth of drawings that had no winner. According to The Daily Mail, the winning digits were 30, 43, 45, 46, 61, and gold Mega Ball 14.

Per the Mega Millions website, the Friday night winner hails from Maine, USA, and the next grand prize is set to be a whopping $20 million, with the cash option being $10.7 million.

Maine regulations hold that winners are not allowed to remain anonymous, so they must reveal their first name as well as the first initial of their last name.

The winner of the $1.35 billion will receive annual payments over 29 years, working out to be roughly $46.5 million per year. No biggie!

As for the odds of the win, they were one in 302.6 million to win the top prize.

But winning millions doesn't always have a happy ending, as one woman found out after earning $1 million aged just 17 several years ago.

As previously reported, Jane Park from Edinburgh, Scotland, won the impressive amount after buying her first lottery ticket as a teen. However, the young woman appeared on Dr. Phil to discuss how she struggled in the wake of her win.

In the segment, she revealed that initially, the win was absolutely thrilling. However, soon after claiming the prize, she was encouraged to go public by Camelot, the organizer of the national lottery, who told her that a 17-year-old winning $1 million was quite unique.

"In the UK, it was 18 to gamble and 16 to play the lottery," she explained to Dr. Phil. "You couldn't put a pound in a machine or couldn't go in the shop and buy cigarettes or alcohol, and you couldn't go into a casino, but you could play the lottery."

"I was basically wanting them to listen, like me calling them up and saying 'you should raise the age'. They were never going to listen and that is why I went massive with it," she added.

Since winning the prize, Jane has campaigned for the age limit to be raised to 18, which was eventually done after she threatened to sue the lottery company.

Evidently, Biggie Smalls was right when he created his hit song 'Mo Money Mo Problems'!
