A Georgia man was shocked to discover the delivery of his final $915 paycheck in the form of oily pennies.
As per ABC7, Andreas Flaten's final $915 pay packet turned up four months late at the end of his driveway as 90,000 pennies, which he claims had been smothered in oil or grease.
The pennies weren't left without a message either, and the news outlet reported that they were accompanied by Flaten's final paystub and an explicit goodbye message.
"This is a childish thing to do," Flaten said.

He had left the job because his employer was not accommodating to his childcare responsibilities.
Then, in mid-March, he noticed a large pile at the end of his driveway and on further inspection, discovered that his former employer had allegedly paid him the final $915 in oily pennies.
He explained that his nightly routine now involves cleaning the pennies so that he is able to cash them in, explaining that it took him an hour and a half to clean several hundred.
"I think that's going to be a lot of work for money I've already worked for," he said. "It's definitely not fair at all."
The shop's owner, Miles Walker, told WGCL-TV that he couldn't remember whether or not he had dropped the pennies off at Flaten's home.
"I don't really remember," Walker told the TV station. "It doesn't matter. He got paid, that's all that matters."
Walker went on to call Flaten a "weenie".

Flaten's girlfriend, Olivia Oxley, is now hoping that his story will illuminate how people "are treated so poorly by their employers."
She added that she and her partner have stopped being angry about the petty incident and are trying to see it in a positive light.
"With that many pennies, we're bound to find a few treasures. I've already found one from 1937," Oxley said. "After the first shovel full, all we could do was laugh because this poor miserable man took so much time to be vindictive and cruel. We absolutely refused to let him ruin a single moment of ours."
While Flaten has tried to remove the oil from the pennies, a GoFundMe has now been set up to replace his final paycheck.

Its creator, Maura Kwiatkowski, wrote on the GoFundMe page that she previously received 5,750 pennies in a cardboard box herself over an undisclosed matter and therefore empathized with Flaten's situation.
Initially created with a goal of $915, at the time of writing, $835 has been raised by the GoFundMe.
