Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was spotted on camera ripping up a copy of President Donald Trump's speech at his State of the Union Address this week.
Per CNN, Trump boasted in his address that he had spearheaded a "great American comeback".
Trump stated: "America's enemies are on the run, America's fortunes are on the rise and America's future is blazing bright. In just three short years, we have shattered the mentality of American decline and we have rejected the downsizing of America's destiny. We are moving forward at a pace that was unimaginable just a short time ago, and we are never going back!"
Take a look at this news report on the moment below:At one point during Trump's speech, Pelosi could reportedly be seen mouthing: "not true," and she later tore up a copy of Trump's speech in full sight of the cameras. The president later appeared to return the favor, snubbing Pelosi by refusing to shake her hand.
In a statement posted on its official Twitter account, The White House condemned Pelosi's gesture by writing: "Speaker Pelosi just ripped up: One of our last surviving Tuskegee Airmen. The survival of a child born at 21 weeks. The mourning families of Rocky Jones and Kayla Mueller. A service member's reunion with his family. That's her legacy. [sic]"

She continued: "Once again, President Trump was not truthful about his actions in court to destroy pre-existing condition protections. Once again, President Trump pulled his punch on his promise to negotiate for lower prescription drug prices."
Pelosi added: "The manifesto of mistruths presented in page after page of the address tonight should be a call to action for everyone who expects truth from the President and policies worthy of his office and the American people. The American people expect and deserve a President to have integrity and respect for the aspirations for their children."
