People are noticing that Nancy Pelosi wore the exact same dress for both of Trump's impeachments.

Yesterday, (Wednesday 13), Donald Trump became the first president in US history to be impeached twice.

And eagle-eyed Twitter users couldn't help but notice that the black dress Ms. Pelosi wore at the outgoing president's first impeachment in December 2019 was the same one she wore for his second.

One person tweeted: "Nancy Pelosi wore the same dress for both impeachments. She literally has a Trump impeachment outfit."

Another added: "NANCY PELOSI REALLY GOT A trump impeachment DRESS !!!!!! DYING [sic]."

A third said: "I would like to bring your attention to the fact that today Nancy Pelosi wore the SAME dress she wore when she impeached Trump the first time. The Speaker has an Impeachment Ensemble!!"

Per the LA Times, the vote to impeach Trump was passed by the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives with a 232-197 vote.

The president has been charged with one article of impeachment for "incitement of insurrection" in the wake of the Capitol riots last week.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Trump's second impeachment, saying: "The resolution is adopted without objection."

Donald Trump will now face a trial in the Senate where, if convicted, he will be prevented from ever running for president again, the BBC reports.

However, it is unlikely that Trump will leave office before his term ends as the Senate is not expected to convene in time.

CNN reports that the ten Republicans who voted in favor of the impeachment resolution are as follows:

Rep. Dan Newhouse of Washington
Rep. John Katko of New York
Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington
Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois
Rep. Fred Upton of Michigan
Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming
Rep. Peter Meijer of Michigan
Rep. Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio
Rep. Tom Rice of South Carolina
Rep. David Valadao of California

Per Reuters, prior to Trump's second impeachment, Pelosi said on the House floor: "The president of the United States incited this insurrection, this armed rebellion against our common country.

"He must go. He is a clear and present danger to the nation that we all love."
