A woman seated behind Donald Trump, who was spotted constantly nodding in agreement with everything the president said at a recent televised broadcast, has divided social media users this week.

According to a report by Fox News, the woman in question was spotted by eagle-eyed viewers nodding profusely.
While Trump was speaking to interviewer Savannah Guthrie on his Thursday NBC town hall in Miami, she even appeared to give a hearty thumbs-up as he discussed the economy in his closing statement.
As you can see, a number of people had a lot of time for the blurred-out woman, and took to Twitter to sing their praises for her:

Meanwhile, detractors were more cynical about the woman's appearance.
Many suggested that she was paid by the Trump campaign, or argued that her inclusion in the event meant that the broadcast was no longer impartial:

According to a report by The Miami Herald, the nodding woman has since been identified as Mayra Joli, a Brickell-based immigration attorney, and activist, who called herself the "master of selfies" during her 2018 campaign to run for congress.
Per The Herald, Joli is also a former beauty queen and Spanish-language television pundit, who emigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic.

Joli is a fervent Trump supporter, sporting MAGA hats in a number of her personal Facebook pictures.
She even uploaded a short video of herself interacting with Trump after the NCB Town Hall event, in which she pledged her loyalty to the Republican leader, crying out to him: "We have your back! You see, you see you are the best!"
Take a look at the footage of Trump that Joli shared in the video below:

The Herald even reports that Joli claims Trump inspired her to run for office in 2018, stating in a prior interview with the paper that:
"I am not looking to run because I need a paycheck, like Donald Trump. I’m not looking to run because I need fame, like Donald Trump. I’m running because I need this country to succeed."
The Herald also reports that Jolie later garnered 2.5% of the vote as an independent in Florida’s 27th Congressional District elections, and was beaten by Democrat candidate Donna Shalala, back in 2018
