A woman has given birth mid-flight while traveling from Salt Lake City to Hawaii.
The momentous occasion was captured on camera by fellow passengers, with the jubilation quickly going viral on the social media platform TikTok.
Passenger Julia Hansen - who uses the handle @juliabernice on TikTok - shared footage from onboard the flight on Friday.
Per Fox News, Delta Air Lines has confirmed the news of the birth, but has revealed no further information about the flight or passengers.
In the video, Hansen can be heard whispering: "A baby was just born on this plane" - before the camera pans around to show passengers sitting patiently.
A crew member then takes over the intercom system to say: "[as most of you have probably heard, we just had a childbirth on the aircraft...] a nice round of applause for the mother. Congratulations!"
Later, a crew member can be heard over the intercom asking that the passengers remain seated "for just a few minutes to allow a passenger to seek medical assistance."
Per Julia's post, the child was born over the Pacific Ocean, with the plane reportedly landing three hours after the baby was welcomed into the world.
The video ends with the mother being wheeled down the aisle in a wheelchair, cradling her newborn. As she leaves, passengers clap and pass on their congratulations. Hansen added in a comment that both the mother and baby were in good health as they deboarded.
Julia's heartwarming video has since been viewed over 10.3 million times, with many commenters getting involved in the high spirits.

"She just saved $20k in hospital bills," one person joked (although, I'm sure many people can relate).
Another quipped: "We named her Delta."

And a third commented: "That kid was set up for the best '2 truths and a lie' game".
But in response to many commenters asking how the woman was flying while pregnant, Hansen posted the biggest plot twist of this entire story.

According to Hansen, she was sat next to the new mom's father for the flight, who told her that the family had no idea she was pregnant.
This kid isn't even a week old and he's already got a better story to tell at parties than I'll ever have.
