President Biden had a bizarre response to reporters after being asked a question about Donald Trump's recent comments.

The President of the United States left reporters confused after he was asked a question about the former POTUS, Donald Trump, who was recently found guilty on all 34 felony counts held against him in his hush money trial.

Trump faced charges of business fraud linked to hush-money payments made to former adult entertainment actress Stormy Daniels.

The payments, totaling $130,000, were allegedly orchestrated by the business tycoon's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to secure Daniels' silence about her alleged sexual encounter with Trump prior to the 2016 election.

After such a dramatic turn of events that could see the 77-year-old get sent down, Biden couldn't help but smirk silently as he was asked a question about his arch-nemesis.

While announcing a proposed ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza and also briefly speaking about Trump's guilty verdict in his hush money trial in New York, a journalist decided to question the president further - just as he was exiting the press conference.

"Donald Trump refers to himself as a political prisoner and blames you directly," a reporter said, causing Biden to stop in his tracks and slowly turn around.

"What’s your response to that, sir?" the journalist added.

Have a look at the video below:

The 81-year-old just stared at the reporters and smirked, not uttering a word.

"Do you think the conviction will have an impact on the campaign?" the reporter continued, hoping to get a few words out of the president.

Biden then started slowly walking away again but not before briefly stopping as if she were going change his mind about responding.

However, he decided to leave the room, much to the disappointment of the reporters who continued to drop questions for him.

"We’d love to hear your thoughts, sir,” the same reporter stated before another asked: "Should he be on the ballot, sir?"

A video of the interaction posted by X user Monitor X went viral, with many wondering what could have been going on in Biden's mind at the time.

"Doesn’t look confused to me. Looks to me like he’s stopping himself from saying something he probably shouldn’t," wrote one user, while another added: "Yeah, I'd just laugh and walk away as well."

"He’s thinking before speaking, not something you find from the other guy," a third commented.

And this X-user stated: "You would think this was a movie, or another hunger games..."

It ain't far off, my friend.

Trump's guilty verdict meant that not only was he the very first president in US history to be criminally tried, but he was also the first former president to ever be convicted of felony crimes.
