Cleveland police allege that they have evidence that Biles-Thomas gunned down Delvante Johnson, Toshaun Banks, and Devaughn Gibson, after a fight at an Airbnb rental property.

An unnamed 21-year-old man was shot in the back of the head, and a 23-year-old woman shot in the arm. Both received emergency medical care after they were rushed to hospital and managed to survive the incident.

Biles-Thomas is currently being held in the Liberty County Jail in Georgia, where he awaits extradition to Cleveland. He has currently been charged with six counts of murder, three counts of voluntary manslaughter, five counts of felonious assault, and one count of perjury, according to his prosecution.

Per The Metro, Police Chief Calvin Williams has issued a statement to the press in which he said: "We appreciate our partnership with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office and are confident that their efforts will bring justice for the families affected by this terrible incident."

Earlier this month, Simone Biles became the first woman to ever land triple-double in a competition; performing a triple-twisting, double-back manoeuvre during her floor routine in front of judges at the US Gymnastics Championships, despite a number of earlier setbacks.

Commenting on the mishap in a later interview, per The Guardian, the gymnast stated: "I still get really frustrated because I know how good I am and how well I can do."

She added: "So, I just want to do the best routine for the audience and for myself out here. I’ve never fallen on one or anything, just to make a mistake like that, it kind of irritated me."
