A 25-year-old high school teacher has been arrested after being accused of having sex with six of her students. According to court documents, Maris Nichols was also blackmailed about students who knew she ran an OnlyFans account.
According to documents obtained by WSB-TV, students who knew about Nichols' OnlyFans account reportedly blackmailed her for better grades.
The teacher has been hit with 11 more allegations
Initially, Nichols was charged with sexually assaulting a student in a classroom closet and a car last month, but she was rearrested two weeks later and received 11 new charges.
The accusations now involve five new alleged victims, and the new charges include child molestation, evidence tampering, and grooming.

The charges against Nichols, who was both a science teacher and the operations manager for the school’s football team, have painted a predatory picture of a teacher who used her authority to coerce a vulnerable person.
Allegedly, Nichols initiated the first encounter in a cramped supply closet on April 23.
Then, the second incident allegedly occurred in May on a Douglasville driveway, where Nichols reportedly met the student inside a car.
Other claims that have come to light following search warrants include evidence that the young biology teacher sent inappropriate images to students.
Reportedly, she even used a sex toy during calls with at least two teens under the age of 16.
Allegedly, the teacher also described her sexual fantasies to the children in great detail, telling them she wanted to be “choked, screamed at, slapped, and whipped”.
According to cops, Nichols allegedly told one teenager to delete the messages they exchanged and lie if quizzed on sexual abuse.

Some of her alleged victims were her students
At least four of the students attended Alexander High School in Georgia, where the science teacher had worked since 2023.
In the aftermath of her arrest, the school suspended Nichols, launched an investigation, and deleted her profile from its website.
Addressing parents in a letter after the first arrest, the Douglas County School System said: “Upon learning of the alleged misconduct, the district immediately launched an investigation.
“Student safety is the district’s highest priority.
“The alleged behavior is unacceptable and violates the professional standards all employees are required to uphold.”

A young biology teacher allegedly had a number of illicit encounters with a student, one taking place inside a school closet.
Maris Nichols, 25, who was both a science teacher and the operations manager for the school’s football team, was arrested on two counts of sexual assault.

How did the parents of Nichols' students react?
As news of the arrest spread, frustration among the parent body sparked families of children who attend Alexander High School to raise a case of professional negligence against the school.
One parent suggested, "No biology was being taught."
Another added that the classroom has become a 'lawless zone,' saying: "My kid hasn't opened a textbook in a month.”
In a statement, a spokesperson for the Douglas County School System said: "The trust between a teacher and a student is sacred.
"That trust was not just broken here; it was demolished.
“Student safety is the district’s highest priority.
"The alleged behavior is unacceptable and violates the professional standards all employees are required to uphold.”
However, it is currently unknown if Nichols is still employed by the school.

How is the predatory teacher being prosecuted?
Nichols, who is reportedly married with a daughter, has been released on a $40,000 bail, with strict conditions ruling that she cannot contact minors and is legally prohibited from setting foot on school property.
Upcoming court hearings will focus on whether school officials missed "red flags" in the biology classroom.
An anonymous parent told 11 Alive: “We’re not asking for special treatment. We are asking for transparency, accountability, and fairness.
“Unfortunately, our concerns have repeatedly been met with resistance, limited communication, and a lack of meaningful reassurance that appropriate measures are being taken to protect all children involved, including our own.”
As upstanding pillars of society, teachers are people we hope that we can trust. We hope that they will look after our society's children, that they'll teach and educate them to a high standard, and - above all - that they'll do their best to make sure nothing bad happens to them.
Unfortunately, some people in the education system abuse their positions, and we frequently hear stories of adults manipulating children and minors into inappropriate relationships.
Haley Reed, a 35-year-old high school choir director at Oldham County High School, Kentucky, was arrested last week after it transpired that she had been engaging in unlawful sexual contact with a juvenile student while on school property.
Reed, who is married, was apprehended last week after local law enforcement received a tip about her having a sexual relationship with a pupil at her school. After being questioned, the teacher readily admitted to the affair and said that she had slept with the minor eight times between the months of April and June this year.
The encounters, she said, had all taken place on school property - albeit outside of teaching hours. She was asked to provide a recorded audio statement about the incidents.
As a result of her actions, Reed has been charged with multiple counts of rape in the third degree, sodomy in the third degree (which can apply to oral or anal sex under Kentucky laws), and unlawful transaction with a minor (classified as anyone under the age of 18). It has not been disclosed exactly how old the pupil was.
This is not the first time this year that a female teacher has been charged with engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor.
One of the most bizarre cases was an Ohio teacher who engaged in sexual conduct with a student that she had legally adopted. Laura Lynn Cross, a 37-year-old woman, admitted to three counts of sexual battery after it was discovered that she had been sleeping with her former student (who was also simultaneously under her legal care), and was subsequently jailed last month.
Oldham County Schools released a statement last Thursday night after Reed was formally arrested:
"District administrators are aware of the charges against a teacher at Oldham County High School. We are cooperating with police during this investigation and the teacher will have no further contact with students for the remainder of the year.
"Further questions on the investigation should be directed to the Oldham County Police Department."
Her bond was originally set at $25,000, but she was eventually bailed out at $2,500. She is scheduled to appear in Oldham County District Court on June 27,and may serve up to four years in prison for the rape charge alone.
A Wisconsin teacher who is accused of "making out" with an 11-year-old student is in court this week, with some alleged explicit texts between the pair being read out.
Madison Bergmann, 24, has been at a preliminary hearing in St. Croix County Circuit Court this week.

She is there under 10 felony charges, including first-degree child sex assault, child enticement, and multiple counts of sexual misconduct by a school staff member, per the New York Post.
This story first came to light after the unnamed boy's mother found messages on his phone.
Police were called to River Crest Elementary School in Hudson, in regards to "inappropriate conduct between a current teacher and a 5th-grade student."
The mother of another student in the fifth-grader's class told the New York Post: "My daughter thought he was a problem kid. She said that his desk got moved next to [Bergmann’s] a couple of months ago, and she just assumed that he was in trouble.
"When it was time for lunch, she’d ask him to stay after class, so that just fed into the idea that he was constantly getting into trouble."
During the recent hearing, the court heard that Bergmann exchanged up to 33,000 texts with the boy in the early parts of this year.
Prosecutor Karl Anderson then began reading from the alleged texts, cited by the New York Post.
At one point he references an alleged message where Bergmann says she "felt" the student, before asking: “Did she acknowledge that she felt it?”
“Yes,” school resource officer Traci Hall responded.
“What else did she say?” Anderson asked.
“That she would wear dresses more often because she liked how he touched her leg,” Hall responded.
“Does Ms. Bergmann ever allude to being sexually aroused in the text messages?” Anderson asked.
“She talks about being w*t in the classroom,” Hall responded.
Defense attorneys for Bergmann claim that the charges against her are too harsh and that the texts support their claim.
“There is never any language where she says ‘I want to have sex with you,'” argued attorney Joseph Tamburino, “or that he says ‘I want you to do this with me.'”
“They talk a lot about kissing, and lips, and cheeks, and touching legs,” Tamburino continued.
“They also talk about some sexual issues, obviously, about a woman’s body and a man’s body. But nothing like ‘this is what I want you to do to me,’ or ‘this is what I will do to you.'”

The judge disagreed and found that the texts were evidence of sexual misconduct.
“It’s clear to me that the state has met its burden to find probable cause that the defendant has committed a felony,” the judge ruled in moving the case forward.
“Clearly, there was probable cause presented by the detective today. The case is bound to go for trial.”
Law & Crime reports that in another exchange, the boy told her: "Haha bro I just want to make out with you," to which Bergmann allegedly replied: "I do too! Like alllll the time."
The child also allegedly told investigators that the two had kissed several times and had spoken about having sex, according to KSTP.
Bergmann, who got engaged in December 2023, has also apparently had her wedding called off by her fiancé, with sources claiming he is "p**sed" to find that not only had she allegedly cheated, but that it was with "a little kid".
During a search of Bergmann's classroom, police allegedly discovered a folder in her bag labeled with the victim's name.
Inside, they reportedly found handwritten notes describing instances of kissing and fondling between her and the student.
Further disturbing details have emerged about a 24-year-old teacher's alleged conduct with the 11-year-old pupil she is accused of 'making out' with.
As previously reported, Wisconsin teacher Madison Bergmann, 24, has been charged with one count of first-degree child sexual assault with a child under age 13, according to CBS News, after the boy's mother allegedly found messages between the pair.
According to the outlet, police were called to River Crest Elementary School in Hudson, in regards to "inappropriate conduct between a current teacher and a 5th grade student."
Now, further details about her alleged behavior with him in the classroom have been revealed, including how she allegedly moved his desk next to hers so she could touch him during class without other pupils seeing.

According to a criminal complaint filed on Thursday in St. Croix District Court, the alleged victim also reported a similar story.
He told sex crime investigators that Bergmann would rub his thigh and calves during independent reading time.
The 11-year-old added that he believed his desk in her classroom at River Crest Elementary School in Hudson had been strategically placed so "he did not believe any of the other kids would see it happening."

He also told police that Bergmann would have him stay after class and claimed that she kissed him several times in her classroom, either after school or while the other students were at lunch.
The alleged interactions between the pair came to light after the child's parents reportedly found messages between them.
According to charging documents, the mother had first heard the pair talking on the phone before telling the boy's father, who found the text messages on their son's phone.
The child told investigators that he and Bergmann had talked "almost daily" since he got her number when the two of them and his mother went skiing together over the winter break at Afton Alps, a nearby resort, after the boy's family had befriended her.
According to the boy, he and Bergmann would also write notes to each other all day, with officers allegedly finding handwritten letters in a folder with the boy's name on it inside Bergmann's backpack.
Police summarized the interaction between the two, stating: "In her notes, she tells him she loves him, wants to kiss him, he turns her on, and that she is obsessed with him."
According to the documents, Bergmann allegedly wrote in one of the notes: "One of my cousins is in the 5th grade and I can't imagine a man talking to her how we talk. I know we have a special relationship and I do love you more than anyone in the world but I have to be the adult here and stop."
Law & Crime reports that in another exchange, the boy told her: "Haha bro I just want to make out with you," to which Bergmann allegedly replied: "I do too! Like alllll the time."
According to the complaint, one text Bergmann sent the boy allegedly read: "I almost kissed you when you were on the ground today, but I got distracted by your stomach", while in another she allegedly told him she "wanted to just grab your face and push you to the floor and make out with you."
The boy's furious father reportedly printed out the text messages and took them to the school, upon which authorities immediately opened an investigation.
The child also allegedly told investigators that the two had kissed several times and had spoken about having sex, according to KSTP.
Bergmann appeared in court on Thursday and was released on a $25,000 bond, with Law & Crime reporting that she was also put on leave from her job and barred from the school property, as well as being ordered to have no contact with the child in question or anyone under the age of 18.
She is also reportedly banned from contacting any students, staff, or parents from the school, and must wear a GPS monitor while out on bond, and can't travel more than 100 miles from Hudson, Wisconsin.
Bergmann, who got engaged in December, has also apparently had her wedding called off by her fiancé, with sources claiming he is "p**sed" to find that not only had she allegedly cheated, but that it was with "a little kid".
Hudson School District sent a message to families, according to KSTP, reading: "Learning about a school staff member and alleged inappropriate conduct that breaches trust is deeply troubling for all of us.
"We understand the gravity of this situation and are committed to providing the necessary support for any child who may be impacted.
"We kindly request the school community to respect the privacy of Hudson students and their families and refrain from spreading rumors or speculation. The School District counseling staff are available to help any child or staff who may be experiencing difficulties with this news."

Additional Victim Identified
The investigation took a darker turn this week when police revealed that a second victim had been identified.
As a result, Noel now faces a total of 25 charges, including first-degree rape, which carries a potential life sentence in Louisiana.
Per KATC, the new charges include 10 counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, two counts of possessing child sexual abuse material, and three counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Noel, who has since been fired from her teaching position, is being held at the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
The bond for her initial charges has been set at $750,000, though no bond has been set yet for the additional charges.

According to reports, she admitted to having a disturbing relationship with her teenage student after sending thousands of explicit messages, which came to light when a relative caught them together.
In April 2025, Columbus police were called to a home on Salado Creek Drive on the city’s northeast side after the teen’s aunt made a shocking discovery.
Prosecutors revealed that she found her nephew, over whom she has guardianship, sitting in a car with Daboubi.
When questioned, the teen admitted he had been involved in a sexual relationship with the teacher, including kissing and touching.
He also told officers they had been "texting for a couple of months and engaging in sexual activity for a period of time," per the Daily Mail.
Police later seized the boy’s phone and uncovered hundreds of calls and messages between him and the educator, including declarations of their twisted "love".

Charges, Plea and Sentencing Details
Daboubi pleaded guilty in February to charges including gross sexual imposition and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, per court documents obtained by WBNS.
Initially, she had been charged with two counts of sexual battery before those charges were amended.
The school confirmed she was fired on April 21, 2025. As part of her plea deal, she must register as a sex offender.
The court has recommended five years of community control, mandatory counseling, community service, and the removal of her teaching license.
She is expected to be sentenced at a later date and will be locked up for 18 months.
