The teenager who filmed George Floyd's fatal arrest has taken to social media to claim that Minneapolis police have "killed her uncle".
In a post made on Facebook, Darnella Frazier, the now-18-year-old who filmed Floyd's fatal arrest on May 25, 2020, stated that her uncle died after Minneapolis police accidentally collided with his car during a high-speed pursuit of a carjacked vehicle.
Frazier wrote on Wednesday, July 7: "Another black man lost his life in the hands of the police! I asked my mom several times 'he died??'
"I couldn’t accept what I was hearing and still can't. Some things just take time to process. I'm still in shock and it hasn't fully hit me yet, I broke down in tears [sad face emoji] I was hoping it was a dream… but it's not and this is reality.
"Minneapolis police have cost my whole family a big loss… today has been a day full of heartbreak and sadness."
A news report following the fatal collision:She continued: "I was just with you at the beach ….if I would've known that would be my last time seeing you, I would've hugged you so much longer, told you I love you way harder….
"I love you so much…. please pray for my family. His name is Leneal Lamont Frazier. Uncle I love you it's just hard for me to accept I won't see you again."
According to ABC News, attorney Ben Crump, who represented Floyd's family during the trial of Derek Chauvin, commented on the incident, stating: "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Leneal Frazier, including Miss Darnella Frazier, who has now twice been directly impacted by lethal practices of the Minneapolis Police Department.
"Police pursuits should be rare and law enforcement should take the greatest of precautions to protect all involved, especially innocent drivers and bystanders."

Per ABC News, the Minnesota State Patrol stated that it would lead the investigation into the crash, and will turn its findings over to the county attorney for review.
The fatal collision reportedly took place at the intersection of 41st Avenue North and Lyndale Avenue North. A third car was also involved in the collision.
Police officials also stated that, in addition to Frazier, a police officer was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
