It's easy to see why someone would become enamoured with the movie Shrek, isn't it? I mean, what's there not to like? The green skin, the antenna ears and the fashion sense are all major plus points. Then, when you mix in his charming, positive and loving character - Shrek becomes quite possibly the most attractive Ogre on the planet.
Because of this, there are a lot of people who are obsessed with Shrek. The film has gone on to have an almost cult-like following - with there being a spin-off, extremely dark, NSFW, YouTube series called 'Sherk' - something which is hugely popular with Reddit users.
However, while most lovers of Shrek would be able to recount their favourite line or tell you about their favourite scene, one fan has gone a step further.
Theo Karras and his family were heading out for a camping trip and were faced with a long drive to their destination. But, rather than play a game of "I Spy" or sit on his phone, Theo - otherwise known as TJ - decided to entertain his family be recounting an entire scene from the 2001 classic.
Luckily for us, Theo's sister, Maria, caught the whole thing on camera and posted it on Twitter for the world to marvel at. And, as it turns out, love isn't only true in fairy tales, as the video has gone to rack up 3.7 million views 78,000 retweets and 226,000 likes. Take a look at Theo's incredible re-enactment below.
Speaking about her decision to post the video online, Maria said: "We have a group chat on Snapchat with 11 of our cousins and we initially were going to send it to them, but it was too long. So I posted it on Twitter for them to see, and it was seen by WAAAY more than just my cousins!"
When asked about his flawless impressions, TJ said: "I've always imitated Shrek scenes and quoted lines since I was younger, so their voices are easier to remember. As far as memorizing it all, I owe that to the amount of times I've watched it!"
Twitter users have fallen in love with Theo and his performance, with plenty of users eyeing him up as boyfriend material and his sister has confirmed that he is, in fact, single and ready to mingle.
According to his sister, Theo has a role in a community theatre production of Legally Blonde the Chicago this summer — so if you fancy seeing viral all-star performing in person, you know where to go.
For now, however, Karras - who, according to his Twitter, has lofty Broadway goals — is taking viral success with a pinch of salt. Still, it's a hard industry to get into and going viral online will help get his name out there and give him a platform to launch his career off. Remember the name.
