TikTok users have flooded a Texas abortion whistleblower website with Shrek memes and fake reports.
A campaign was organized by pro-choice supporters on Reddit and TikTok prior to the introduction of Texas' new abortion law, the Guardian reports. This resulted in the ProLifeWhistleBlower website being bombarded on the evening of its introduction.
This comes after Texas introduced a new law this week that bans all abortions after six weeks or once there is a heartbeat, even in cases of rape and incest, and only makes exceptions for "medical emergencies", CNN reports.
Pictured below is governor Greg Abbott, who signed the bill into law on Wednesday (September 1).

ProLifeWhistleBlower was established by Texas Right to Life to help enforce the new law.
"Any Texan can bring a lawsuit against an abortionist or someone aiding and abetting an abortion after six weeks," the website reads, with the Guardian reporting that those found guilty can be fined a minimum of $10,000.
The website includes an online form where people can submit information about anyone having an illegal abortion in Texas, and it includes a section where images can be added as evidence.
Following the bill's enactment, one TikTok user went viral after revealing that she had submitted 742 fake reports of the governor Greg Abbott getting illegal abortions.

Meanwhile, Reddit users had the same idea and revealed that they'd submitted reports blaming the state of Texas for letting people have illegal abortions by permitting highways that can be used to go out of state.
Another TikTok user showed how he uploaded Shrek memes claiming that they proved "my wife aborted our baby 4 weeks into her pregnancy without my consulting me."

The American Civil Liberties Union said of the new law on Twitter: "Access to almost all abortion has just been cut off for millions of people, the impact will be immediate and devastating."
President Biden has also described the law as an "unprecedented assault on a woman's constitutional rights," per CNN.
