Tim Walz responds to Trump’s shocking slur about him in late-night Thanksgiving speech

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz sharply pushed back on Thursday after Donald Trump launched a personal attack against him on Truth Social.

Walz, who had been Kamala Harris’ running mate in her failed presidential election bid, responded with a concise but pointed four-word demand.

The comment immediately gained traction online, signaling a new phase in the escalating tensions between the two political figures.

Trump’s Ableist Insult Sparks Widespread Backlash

In his original post, Trump used an ableist slur to describe Walz, calling him “seriously r******d.” The former president went on to accuse Walz of failing to act on what Trump falsely labeled as an “invasion” of Minnesota by “hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia.”

These claims mirror Trump’s long history of inflammatory rhetoric on immigration, but this time his use of a derogatory slur ignited immediate criticism across social media platforms.

Walz simply responded with a short X post that read: “Release the MRI results.”

Advocacy groups, political commentators, and everyday users condemned the language as harmful and unacceptable, noting that ableist insults contribute to stigmas surrounding disabilities.

Many also pointed out that Trump’s allegations about Minnesota immigration have repeatedly been debunked.

Walz’s succinct reply tapped into a growing public curiosity about Trump’s unexplained MRI scan in October. The procedure has never been fully detailed by Trump or the White House, prompting questions about why the scan took place and what the results actually showed.

As scrutiny around Trump’s age, energy levels, and cognitive fitness intensifies, the lack of transparency has only heightened speculation.

Trump Offers Only Vague Statements About His Health

Trump has repeatedly brushed off inquiries about the MRI, giving only a muddled explanation. “I have no idea what they analyzed, but whatever they analyzed, they analyzed it well,” Trump claimed.

According to BBC News, he added that the results were “as good as they’ve ever seen,” while offering no documentation or further clarification.

The ambiguity surrounding Trump’s health has become a recent recurring topic, with many arguing that if Trump intends to raise questions about the fitness of others, he should be equally transparent about his own medical records.
