Forensic expert raises question about Tom Hanks amid latest Epstein files release
In a recent video analysis, Dr. G, a clinical and forensic psychologist and body language expert, has examined the newest release of Epstein-related documents while addressing a wave of online speculation surrounding Ghislaine Maxwell, but it’s the question asked about Hollywood supremo Tom Hanks that has aroused curiosity amongst viewers.
Central to the discussion is a side-by-side behavioral comparison between Maxwell’s 2016 deposition and her 2026 testimony before Congress. Social media conspiracists have suggested that the woman appearing in 2026 is somehow an imposter, pointing to perceived differences in appearance and demeanor. Dr. G approaches the claim not through conjecture, but through structured behavioral analysis and from a clinical perspective.
Tom Hanks' links with Epstein
Yet, away from his forensic analysis of Maxwell’s perceptible disposition, Dr. G delves into the cryptic references to the Catch Me If You Can star in emails between Jeffrey Epstein and American publicist, Peggy Siegal.
Exchanged around Thanksgiving in 2013, the pair discussed a festive party near the island of Little St. James, with Dr. G theorizing about the inclusion of Hanks’ name and whether it inferred that the actor was in the area at the time, and was involved in the aforementioned celebrations hosted by the disgraced financier.
However, the forensic expert conceded that the links were tenuous and ultimately speculative, stating: “This could imply one of two things, that Tom Hanks was with David [Epstein’s associate] and were around the island of Little Saint James and may have gone to visit it, or that Hanks was with Epstein, it is unclear who she is speaking to at this point, but it is clear that she is making the assumption that Tom Hanks is somewhere in that area.”
Hanks is named more than once in the files
Included in the 3.5 million-page file released by the U.S. Department of Justice in January is a testimony penned by a victim of trafficking by Epstein at a ranch in New Mexico.
In this written statement, the person alleges that Epstein had connections with Jeb Bush, Tom Hanks, and other prominent figures, suggesting that they may have had a part to play.
Dr. G explained to his 642,000 YouTube subscribers that “We can’t verify the truthfulness of this, but there are other claims. This is actually a time he is mentioned in a very different capacity, this wasn’t on Little St. James island, this was on one his [Epstein’s] other estates. Aside from mentioning his name, this doesn’t go into any other details.”
At present, there is no other publicly available information on Hanks' alleged involvement or friendship with Epstein.
