Questions about Donald Trump's health have intensified online after going seven straight days without making a public appearance, sparking speculation across social media and leading to the hashtag #TrumpDead trending on some platforms.
Trump has not been seen publicly since attending a Cabinet meeting on May 27. Since then, the only appearance linked to the president has been a pre-recorded interview, prompting some commentators and social media users to question why he has been out of the public eye.
The discussion comes just ahead of Trump's 80th birthday, with some observers arguing that such a lengthy absence is unusual for a president who is typically highly visible.
The speculation gained momentum after journalist Aaron Rupar pointed out on X that Trump had not appeared publicly for nearly a week.
Several users suggested they had noticed a pattern in the president's schedule.
"Call me old-fashioned, but I think it should be a bigger story that we haven't seen the President of the United States on live TV in nearly a week. This happens at the beginning of every single month...," one user wrote.
Another added: "I didn't notice a possible pattern until someone pointed it out. It's the first of the month. He seems to disappear around this time."
Others also questioned the situation.
"I know we're all a little weary of 'dementia Twitter,' but it does seem odd that a president who lives on camera just doesn't do any public appearances about once a month for almost a week."
Interest in Trump's whereabouts increased further after reports emerged that he had spent several hours at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center the day before his May 27 Cabinet meeting.
According to reports, it was his third visit to the medical facility within the last year and came shortly before Dr. Mehmet Oz's health-related announcement during a White House briefing.
The visit quickly fueled additional speculation online, particularly among users who have previously discussed visible bruising on the president's hands.
"It's the first of the month, time for his monthly treatments. Expect to see large bruises on his hands and open sores on other parts of his body in the next few days," one social media user claimed.
Another wrote: "They are lying to us about Donald Trump's health."
A third added: "Six days between public appearances feels like a long time for a president. Wonder if something is up or if this is just how his schedule works now."
Despite the online theories, Trump recently said that a six-month medical examination conducted at Walter Reed found that "everything checked out PERFECTLY."
The White House later released details from what was described as the president's third official medical assessment since returning to office. In a memorandum, US Navy Captain Sean Barbabella stated that Trump "remains in excellent health" and continues to demonstrate "strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function."
Not everyone was convinced by the findings, however.
"That report is almost too good to be true for somebody of his age," Texas vascular surgeon William Shutze told The Wall Street Journal. "This seems to be a filtered narrative."
The hashtag, #TrumpDead, has subsequently gained traction on social media, with one user asking: "Is #TrumpDead? In prison? Kidnapped?"
Another asked: "Is #TrumpDead? Trump dead?"
At present, there is no publicly available evidence confirming any serious health concerns. However, Trump's recent absence from public events has continued to generate discussion online, with many closely watching for his next appearance as speculation surrounding his health persists.
