Donald Trump has retweeted a picture of Biden that was captioned by the original poster with the claim that the former VP looked like "a corpse".
This is the latest in a string of increasingly personal attacks on his presidential rival, which has seen Trump post photoshopped images of Biden in a nursing home and tout the claim that he might have dementia.
Watch as President Trump tells people to 'get out there' and not be 'afraid' of Coronavirus:

The original tweet, which was a reply to another tweet regarding a small crowd of people reportedly chanting "four more years" at a Biden campaign event, reads, "Did you see him at this thing? He looked like a corpse."

Donald Trump retweeted it.
"Nice ageism! Another attempt at uniting your base? @realDonaldTrump Great attempt at winning over the seniors who have flocked to @JoeBiden What an inspiration to seniors to say that anyone with age spots looks like a corpse. Brilliant campaign strategy..." One Twitter user wrote underneath the image.

Earlier this week, Trump took aim at Joe Biden once more with a particularly savage tweet that features a photoshopped picture of the 77-year-old in a nursing home.
Biden's face has been photoshopped onto that of a nursing home resident, and it reads: "Biden for resident", with the P from Biden's campaign slogan crossed out.

And before that, the president made the claim that Biden has dementia, in reference to an incident at a Biden campaign stop during which he appeared to forget Mitt Romney's name.
After a tweet from a separate account referenced the incident, Trump wrote:
"Mitt can’t be thrilled about this! Joe also said yesterday he’s running for the U.S. Senate (again) and totally forgot where he was (wrong State!).
"Joe has never been a nice or kind guy, so it’s easier to find this obvious & rapidly getting worse 'dementia' unacceptable for USA!"

Meanwhile, the president and former vice president held simultaneous town halls last night in lieu of a second debate. The two events have been labelled stark contrasts between each other, with Trump's event largely operating in the chaotic realm we have all grown accustomed to over the nearly four years of his presidency.
Trump did, for the first time, suggest that he would accept a peaceful transfer of power in the event of him losing the presidential race. Per the BBC, he said, "And then they talk, 'will you accept a peaceful transfer.
"And the answer is, 'Yes, I will.' But I want it to be an honest election, and so does everybody else."
The tone of the Biden event, meanwhile, was more muted and less cantankerous that Trump's often-combative event.
He did, however, also appear to deflect questions at times.
It remains to be seen whose strategy will win the vote of the American people.
