A video has surfaced online showing the moment Travis Scott spotted an ambulance in the crowd during his performance at the Astroworld festival.
The first night of the planned two-night festival took place on Friday, November 5, at the NRG Park in Houston, Texas. However, the event - which is run by the 30-year-old rapper - turned tragic after a crowd surge among the 50,000 fans resulted in the deaths of eight people.
Around 300 others were treated for injuries, officials said.
Now, footage has emerged on social media showing the moment Travis Scott paused his set after spotting an ambulance in the middle of the crowd.

For roughly 30 seconds, Scott can then be seen looking around in apparent confusion over the unfolding situation.
He then asks everybody in the crowd to put their "middle fingers up to the sky". After a brief talk with his team, the rapper asked everybody to put "two hands to the sky".
Scott then continues with his performance, telling his fans: "I wanna make this motherf***ing ground shake, God dammit."
A second video from the event shows yet another moment Scott paused mid-performance to call for assistance after spotting fans in distress.
Watch the moment Scott calls for help in the video below:In the clip, Scott can be seen on stage, before pausing his performance to say: "We need somebody to help, somebody passed out right here," as he points to the crowd.
"Somebody passed out right here... No, no - don't touch them, don't touch them. Everybody just back up," he adds. The rapper continues: "Somebody jump in - Come on, come on. Security, get in there, let's get in there."
Following the news that the show resulted in eight fatalities, the rapper took to social media to share a statement voicing his "absolute devastation."
The 'Love Galore' rapper wrote: "I'm absolutely devastated by what took place last night. My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival."
He continued: "Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life. I am committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need. Thank you to Houston PD, Fire Department and NRG Park for their immediate response and support."
It has also been reported that Scott will be covering the funeral costs for the individuals who lost their lives.
The Houston Police Department tweeted on Sunday revealing that an investigation into the mass casualty event is active and "in its early stages."
