Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is finally preparing to reopen the gates to its park to the public.

The Florida parks were forced to close their gates and hotels (along with other global Disney resorts) back in mid-March due to the ongoing pandemic.

But as per CNN, Walt Disney World submitted its plan to reopen to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force on Tuesday morning, detailing the dates it is proposing bringing guests back to the parks.

The current plan aims to reopen the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks on July 11, with Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios opening a few days later, on July 15.

The announcement was also corroborated by the Disney newsgroup, The DIS, who wrote on Twitter: "BREAKING: Walt Disney World announces it plans to reopen Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on Saturday, July 11 with Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios opening July 15!"

Their proposal did include several rules and regulations regarding guests in the parks.

Per Walt Disney World News Today, the parks will be holding a series of soft reopening tactics for select audiences in the days leading up to the July 11 reopening. These will feature Cast previews and affinity soft-opening preview days.

The reopening of Walt Disney World Resort is expected to be much like that of Shanghai Disneyland in China, with guests being permitted to secure a reservation prior to visiting the parks. Further details on the new reservation system are expected to be released in the near future.

The parks will reopen at limited capacity, gradually increase the number of guests permitted in the park as the battle against the novel coronavirus continues to develop.

WDWNT also reports that social distancing and face masks will be enforced throughout the parks, and all guests will have to undergo temperature checks prior to entering to the parks.

It is also being reported that Disney is expected to introduce designated "relaxation zones", where guests will be allowed to remove their masks.

COVID-19 General Health and Safety Protocols have also been revealed, with the following signage expected to be put in place throughout the parks and their attractions:
