It is believed that the bartender who was coughed at will be tested for COVID-19.
"She was just upset people were telling her she had to play by new rules," Marotta observed.
One person wrote on Twitter of the incident, "The rules have been posted for everyone. She did what she did. Captured on video. She’s subject to the consequences of her actions. Enough said."
Another added. "no words, just wear your damn mask,"
Per ABC 7 News, General Manager Bobbie Martinez was dismayed at the video, saying "It's not nice to do that, he was enforcing the guidelines and she refused to follow it." Employees have not, however, elected to file a police report. They just want her to know that her behavior was not acceptable.
"I think if she reflects on this, maybe she can realize she can be better," Marotta observed.
