A veteran who ate at McDonald's nearly every day for the last 36 years celebrated turning 100 at his favorite branch.

Zan White, from Elkins, West Virginia, celebrated the massive milestone by driving himself to his local fast food joint for a party alongside his fellow buddies who often spend some good ol' quality time over a Maccies meal.

WDTV reported that on Friday, The Golden Arches threw a birthday bash for one of their most loyal customers which included some balloons and a heartfelt message from the the restaurant's area supervisor.

"I’ve seen Zan every morning pretty much for the 24 years I’ve been working; it’s a joy to see him every morning, it’s one of the highlights of my day," Mark Godwin told the station.

He also added that White managed to reach a century on this earth thanks to McDonald's.

"It’s definitely coming to McDonald’s every morning and having McDonald’s coffee," Godwin joked.

White was also recognized by the state's governor Jim Justice, who sent the 100-year-old a certificate to commemorate his milestone.

"As Governor of West Virginia, I extend special greetings to you on the happy occasion of your one-hundredth birthday. I hope you have a wonderful day," the message read.

"As you gather for this celebration, I know you must take great pride in the wealth of family and friends who celebrate with you," Justice continued. "Each birthday brings an abundance of treasured memories. Looking fondly back over the years, I am sure you are pleased to see the many lives you have touched in a positive way. There is no better way to measure one's life than by the number of those you have nurtured and loved: and in this regard, you are truly rich."

The message concluded with the governor wishing White well for the future.

Prior to his special day, the senior citizen recently renewed his driver's license which meant that he could come and go freely from his favorite hot spot - and in celebration of doing so, the local sheriff’s office jokingly sent him a ticket for 100 years of reckless driving as well as a plaque.

The city’s mayor also got in on the action, officially declaring it to be Zan White Day.

Speaking to WDTV, Mayor Jerry Marco stated: "I asked him what the secret was and he just grinned at me so I hope that means I have to smile a lot, so congratulations to Mr. White he’s a tremendous citizen that we have and we’re honored to have him."

At his party, the outlet also reported that White would be continuing his McDonald's breakfast tradition for as long as he lives.

"I’ve been coming here for 36 years," White said while chuckling. "I can’t stop now."

We love to hear it - happy 100th birthday, Zan White!
