Baba Vanga gained popularity during the Second World War and is best known for her chillingly accurate predictions of the Chornobyl disaster and 9/11 attacks. But what, you might ask, did she foresee for 2023? Even though official records of Baba Vanga's prophecies are scarce, they continue to hold sway over many. Not all solar flares are harmful, but the intense ones, known as solar storms, can disturb power grids, internet connections, and other vital communications. Still, Baba Vanga's prediction for 2023 suggests a far more catastrophic event. Another astronomical prediction from the famed seer was a change in Earth's orbit. Changes to our planet's orbit, which is an oval rather than a perfect circle, could have unimaginable impacts on global weather, potentially resulting in escalated global warming and increased radiation levels. Some of Baba Vanga's followers theorize that an asteroid could knock Earth off its orbit, ushering in a raft of potential extinction-level problems. In addition to these astronomical forecasts, the <a href="https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/blind-mystic-baba-vangas-2023-28532211" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daily Star</a> reports that Baba Vanga also predicted an increase in the use of bioweapons. Amid global recovery from a pandemic, the prospect of biological warfare strikes a nerve. The World Health Organization defines bioweapons as any virus, bacteria, fungi, or toxic substance purposely released to cause disease or death in humans, animals, or plants. While Baba Vanga's predictions for 2023 are indeed ominous, it's crucial to remember that the interpretation of her visions has often been off the mark in the past. Her prophecies are famously cryptic and open to multiple interpretations, and not all have come to fruition.
