What would you do if you found out that someone was breaking into your car, in the dead of night, right outside your house? I'm assuming most of us would either shout at them to scare them off and call the police. I think, however, that even in the most dangerous of circumstances I'd take the time to put on some pants, or at least a dressing gown.
However, some people are more likely to spring right into action, like Stephen from Newcastle did when he saw he was being robbed. When the saw that his car was being stolen, Stephen ran outside in his birthday suit, chasing down the undoubtedly bewildered car thief.
The CCTV footage of the incident was shared on social media by Stephen's partner, Nicola.
"Someone tried to steal our car last night," she wrote. "Silly sausage didn't realise my fiancé is a naked ninja. Bet he won't try that again in a hurry. Would there be anything more terrifying than a raging, naked man rugby tackling you?"
Speaking to The Sun, Stephen later said: “I’m the Naked Ninja. That car is my pride and joy, there is no way that anyone was stealing it.”
You can watch the ridiculous moment in the video below:
“The guy realised I was naked," Stephen explained. "He didn’t know where to put his hands.”
In a surprising turn to the tale, Stephen reportedly let the thief go once he saw how young he was. The police traced the boy within a few days, but the couple chose not to press charges. "Everyone deserves a second chance,” Stephen said.
Now that story ended in a far more wholesome way than you expected, didn't it?
