A father is demanding an apology from an impatient cyclist who deliberately knocked down his five-year-old daughter in Belgium.
The incident took place on Christmas day when Patrick Mpasa was walking with his family at a nature reserve in Jalhay, in the east of the country, as reported by Nieuwsbald, per the Daily Mail.
While walking, the cyclist approached them from behind and rang a bell as he did so, but it was not immediately heard by Patrick's wife and daughter Neïa.
However, instead of waiting for the pair to hear the alarm, the cyclist continued forward struck Neïa with his knee, who fell to the ground.
Watch the footage taken of the shocking incident below:Patrick subsequently contacted the police about the incident and pursued the cyclist himself, but he said that he showed no remorse for his actions.
Despite asking Patrick to withdraw the complaint made to the police, the cyclist did not apologize and accused Patrick himself of aggression, claiming that he did not realize that Neïa had fallen over.
To raise awareness about the incident, Patrick subsequently shared the footage of the cyclist's actions on social media - and in a bit to finally receive an apology from him.
Neïa reportedly suffered from pain in her back and wrists as a result of the incident, but she was not seriously injured, although her parents did, at first, fear that she could have broken something.

Patrick said that his five-year-old daughter is now asking questions about the incident and wondering why she was knocked over by the cyclist.
Police have confirmed that they are investigating the incident, and they have urged anyone with information to come forward.
According to Le Soir, the cyclist was identified on Monday, and he is facing up to a year behind bars for assault and battery on a minor.
While the cyclist has yet to apologize, others who have recently hit the headlines have been more willing to admit their mistakes.
The court services in England issued an apology this month after a black barrister was assumed to be the defendant twice in one day.
